this topic may go to trash, but still, I'll give it a shot asking, anyhow, I've been playing on shards for over a year now, not intensivly, but still, every now and then, I like the idea of uthgard, and it is a great realization. I dislike the thing "no buff-bots", but sure, classic style, I understand, anyhow, was thinking of SI zones, I know it's a pain in the ass doing all that, but still, I think implementing those zones would help the game quality :), so, just asking if SI zones are going to be "in" the game anytime soon? ^^ thx :)

I think imploding those zones would help the game quality

Well, never considered that but it might be an idea! One big *poof* and the whole topic is done for...and everyone lived happily ever after.
Happy hunting!

Hmm interesting. I keep seeing people respond with "when the classic zones are finished' response to these questions. Is there a list some place of what is considered on the "todo" list as far as remaining features in classic so that the community can gauge the progress on this? What are the features you are referring to? Are you referring to mob spawn locations/behavior ? Are you talking about quests? Are you referring to missing items/drop rates? Basically I suppose I am wondering if you may need any help to speed this process along =)

I was just asking out of curiosity, because necro isn't implemented for like forever now :D, that would be a nice start :), or the SM pets, etc etc ^^, no need for flaming :)

and someone answered that you are finishing the classic zones first, hehe, thanks for responding :), and what am I referring to, hmm, basically, the thing about SI I'm missing is the final quests you do, even tho it is a bit buggy, I respect the work on server done so far :), because it has a great concept :), ty ^^

Extra stuff means extra fun means more interesting gaming ;)

My suggestion is to have a page with the implemented features of uthgard server, under development features and possible near future features. It could help a lot from stopping people asking again and again for some features. I would like to know what I have and what I will have in near future (or maybe have.) In other hand, I can say that isn't my problem. :)

That would be pretty cool and would give a bunch of more options for SC templates.

Shrouded Isles won't be released/worked on, until classic is not completed. Completing classic means more, than just adding mobs and drops. We are still missing a lot of quests and npc actions, that we were not able to work on, until now. We have a new triggeraction system for mobs and npcs and you will soon see big differences in npc behaviour.

well, just came across this subject and matter, since I've posted here about 2 years ago concerning SI zones.

I know you are working on OF, and I'm cool with that, but for example necro is still not implemented :/

well, just bringing up the question again, if they are ever going to be implemented, cheers <3

As I have said so often now, different tasks mean different developers:

Mob (Pet) AI = Blue
Realmguards/Doors for OF = Baldrug

Not everyone does everything. Else chaos would be at the present.
It is not as easy as just pressing a button. Each line of behaviour has to be written and algorithms have to be invented before that. Even before that, huge tests have to be done.

SI zones would be nice, absolutely. And SI quests would help a lot building templates.

But the old mainland is large enough as it is. We do not need like 5 extra zones to be able to level, and actually we don't need the SI-jewelry. It would be handy to have them indeed, but we can survive without. Right now nobody has them, so we are all on an even level anyway, there's nothing that needs fixing.

Can we not have the SI mobs spoawning in some locations of Classic?... would save a lot of coding in SI itself and add more drops/mobs etc to classic area`s...
A few good places for them would be Dartmoor, Lyonesse, Llyn Barfog... maybe even add the SI dragon to Barfog among the other bosses??
That way we`re getting SI without all the hassle as mob spawns are the least of the coding if any?
