will new races be implemented? (shar, h-ogre, frostalf) It be nice to have more race diversity or would coding it in be a pain?

Si races will be implemented. However nothing past that, so no shar, h-ogre of frostalf.

im sure this is an easy one, but what are the bg levels going to be?
I know in uth 1.0 it was 20-35 was the first one and then increments of 4 lvls...thnx

Will viper and wild arcane affect weapon dots? I heard rumors that it does and in nf ras it doesn't and i don't think it should.

In new RAs viper affects weapon dots and wild arcane doesn't exist with new RAs. Do you mean weapon procs that are DOTs?

The battlegrounds will be as followed: *edited through Trishin's post on next page* Abermenai - Levels 15-19 - Highest allowed realmrank: 1L2 Thidranki - Levels 20-24 - Highest allowed realmrank: 1L3 Murdaigean - Levels 25-29 - Highest allowed realmrank: 1L5 Caledonia - Levels 30-35 - Highest allowed realmrank: 1L9 And also a custom zone: Kaldrheim - Levels 36-42 - Highest allowed realmrank: 2L9 This is in accordance to patch 1.65 (Abermenai was added 1.60)

From what i read on freddyshouse etc the detection range of see hidden assassin vs comp. 50 stealth archer will be around 800 units (one source: http://kaber.bladekeep.com/stealth.htm ..there are several more). The only formula i ever found was (take highest value of the two): See Hidden range = 2700 - 36*(modified stealth level) Detect Hidden range = 250 + 50*(50 - modified stealth level) source: http://www.marcphilipeschmidt.de/daoc/quivna.htm

So here is my question: With SI, im sure, we will get new bows to. Same bows for all realms with differend bow speed again? I hope all bow classes will get same max bow atackspeed!

Hi Katinaz, The bows will be implemented as were seen at 1.65. You are correct with information you stated that was seen on Uthgard previously; however, we will see bow damage/speed corrected as they were on live in 2003  .

While I appreciate the reply you are not official Uthgard staff  Your research is same as mine tho.
There will be a group of people out there who will want this realm to be entirely Mythic-like. Exactly like vanilla, drop rates/xp rates, basically everything and you will not be able to please them unless it is exactly like vanilla.
These people have their nostalgia goggles on so tight it's cutting off the bloodflow to their brain and they believe that vanilla was perfect and nothing was wrong with it.

Midgard never got the slowest bows, these got Albion which was 5.7speed if i recall correctly, but on uth was little diferent like(mid 5.3s, alb 5.7 and hib also 5.7s but later 5.5s ?)

My Hunter and Scout got same DF bow. On mid he was with 5.5 speed and on alb 5.3 speed. I have also tested both bow dmg. Hunters and Scout was rr6. They got same dex and same bow ability points, used same arrows for dmg testing. Hunter Deal always more dmg, no matter what shot i used. Tested on same target btw...

Slower bows hit harder with same bowspec and dex - they are all on the same dmg table.
The DF bows - shouldn't it be: Basalt Bow of Bedlam (Mid) - 5,3spd Basalt Bow of Bedlam (Hib) - 5,4spd Brimstone Longbow of Anarchy - 5,4spd
However, maxrange is 2200 for longbows, 2100 for recurve and 2000 for composite bows. (rising with elevation) So, the difference is just 100 resp. 200 units with is not that far when considering melee range is 128 units.
Uthgard till 2003!
