Because that is a fail. No TS -> don't leave atk/mtk/ligen
*Everyone should be in TS with mic
*Call out any CC you cast

Not everyone speaks the same language on this server... most do know how to read English. I agree that TS is important but only if everyone in the pug understands what is being said . macros showing what is being attack and what is being mezzed is a back up for that........

Everyone understands the most important ts calls like

"mezzing/rooting (insert race and class)"
"(your charactername) DMG"
"Need a demezz on (charname)"
and so on

Macros are bullshit, there's enough stuff happening outside the chatbox you have to deal with.
Most groups will fail because they lack communication, individual skill is not even that important, especially because daoc is pretty easy concerning the mechanics (compared to other games)

common mistakes (assuming that everyone is on TS)
-People die without calling damage
-Groups keep pushing/kiting if they have members being mezzed or rooted
-People don't call for demezzes and just stand there quietly to complain afterwards "I couldn't do ****** I've been mezzed for the whole fight"
- Offtanks don't help each other and or hit the wrong targets at the wrong time (This happens extremely often, even better players do these mistakes)
- Bad positioning (This is probably one of the hardest things to master)
-People do not call their guarder to help them
-People don't call, or don't know when to call for ras like Bof,SoS,AM...

I know a Healer - (Bad positioning - This is probably one of the hardest things to master) - played like a God with his mechanics but had often enough a very bad positioning :D. This is very true. I guess to know where your place it at the right time is one of they keyfactors to have success if we talk about individual skills. Also people interprete their roles quite different sometimes.

I´d saw it often enough people kite do maybe 1 Cast and then they got a Tank stucked to them again instead of running 10sek more and wait for Deftank to slam/snare etc, they got caught over and over.

best rule for pugs: do a run and see whats out. If it is too strong for you: adjust your number of player. If the enemies still too strong or too many: adjust your number of player.... And so on.
If you stick with this you can forget about all the stupid hints so far in this thread, and keep playing like a six year old, a chimpanzee or even a requiem. I promise you will be successful

If you are kind, and interested in fair fights, you try not to overdo the number adjustments. If you are just into being successful and making RP you don't bother and go big 8)

and yeyeye, if you edit the title i get 5p copyright charge from you celteen!!111
