Conquer Duration fix!

My english sux, so maybe not easy understand what i write, but i think we are saying the same thing... Uthgard rvr is something unique, that is lot far from any patch of real daoc rvr... Pick a ranger here, and tell me if make sense stay old styles (so assassins have no all review on debuff abs) ... Leave ra's like pd, but not introduce lgm weapons... This is just an exemple, EVERYTHING here is just custom, and the impact on rvr is huge, on everything... Conquer? Is livelike (like rangers skill, for exemple), but with this Uthgard system result Incredible OP, like lot other things... ---------- UTHGARD 1.0 ------------

New ra's w/out ml existed on live, on classic servers, but there was tons of other's toys and all the style's review. There was legg weaps, cl's lvl's, cl's weapons, all cata and toa bonuses, all tanks with snare, side stuns etc etc The only difference from live was no artifacts, no ml's and ranged buffs... (the only shard close to these settings was Purga) Another game, another game... ---------- UTHGARD 1.0 ------------

You had ToA Bonuses which helped balance the system immensely. ToA Bonuses = % Spell Duration/Range/Damage, % Power Pool, % Heal/Buff Effectiveness, % Melee/Style Damage, + to Stat Cap. It is indeed a completely different system here. It took me ages to adjust to the glacial casting speed and tiny PowerPool spell casters have available here. The simple fact you could Cast faster allowed a little more control-ability against tanks. Many players here seem to misunderstand these bonuses were essential to balancing. Anyway, get back on topic with the Conquer Duration QQ thread. It's futile to argue simply because it's LiveLike pending patchlevel. "It's not fair unless I'm winning!" |

The simple fact is conquer is not balanced and needs to be looked at because it is not consistent with other snares at same level range. Giving every melee class a back snare and side snare is called mirroring, but reducing an ability that already has snare to a duration that's consistent with others is called balancing.

True, but i really doubt that custom balance could come before the "fix" of non-live-1.69-like features. RIP : Ectoplasme

thinking that slam+sidestun+flurry in a zerk would be more beneftial than a backsnare or vendomode on a merc just shows me that you have no idea of this game. ![]() take away my shield and chain, give me a backsnare on my merc and ill be cool. wouldnt even call for triple wield or vendo mode, but ill take either for giving up dirty tricks. ![]() |

Albion not only have the Theurg with highest Range(except Amnesia and Bolts...), they have also the highest range for Mezz and so on....sadly all Albs here think they need to push ![]()
