Been having some packet loss at the same jump for the last few days. Going to talk to my ISP about avoiding it. It drops different amounts at different times.

ISP isn't going to help with this issue. Cox is lame as hell. Anyone have an idea of how to fix this packet loss?

Here is another tracert.

Thanks for the reply but I hope they're not done fixing it as I am still dropping packets at that jump.

This all stated a few weeks ago after the server changed for uthgard.game-server.cc to uthgard.server.net or since uthgard.game-server.cc has become unpingable/untraceable. I didn't have packet loss before this happened. I don't know what else I can do to attempt to fix this. I've spoken with everyone who could help and gotten nowhere.

I know there are more people out there with this same issue. Are we going to get any help so we can continue to play on Uthgard?

I have also been having issues with packet loss and general latency since the hosting switch.

My connection is coming from Los Angeles, and it seems like a lot of people experiencing issues are from the US..

I know many people who have that issue, and they usally have 1 thing in common. Their ISP is provided from a cable provider. Now thier is nothing wrong with cable it just it seems the cable companies sent their data a different path then At&T or Version. I had the same issue also and it was so bad I changed internet providers so I dont have lag. Since changing from Cable to At&T I have a far better gaming experince. If you could I would strongly recommened Version Fios if it was avaible in my area I would get it.

So if you want the lag to stop I suggest you stop using cable. Again I am not saying that cable is bad but it seems that every one on cable at least on the east coast the lag makes the game all most unplayable at time.

Contacting your cable provider or the people with the bad euro server is probably not going to get the desired results. Hope you guys are able to reslove your issues.
