I understand both are needed in grp rvr but I'm interested in how they do in 1on1 fights.. Basically, if i intend to solo sometimes, which class would be a better choice?

Warrior all the way.

The Berserker's lack of shield spec really hurts it 1v1.

Warrior > zerk for obv reasons... But zerker is still capable of soloing, imo.

Warrior is better choise. He has slam, chain armor, shield..
Zerker only has evade stun, but his evade sux a lot. Well maybe with moparry 5 and composite 50 in parri, could be interesting...

For only melee fights the warrior is better for sure, but imo a bers with charge has more chance to win vs casters

Imo you can't go solo from time to time. Your RA's need to be either solo specced or grp specced. Wouldn't roll a visible solo char at all it's pointless unless you chose a skald.

Im agree with you. Skald has ras that are useless in grooup rvr and solo like purge, sos, aotg.

His post was regarding Warr or Bersi as solo class and RA spec  And as Skald u ve a different spec for Grp and solo as well.

Thanks for all of your replies folks...
I am aiming for group rvr at 50 and gonna spec for that purpose.... It's just that I love occasional 1on1 fights when they occur. Also, I might just decide to go full out solo at some point so I wanted to know which of these 2 classes would be more viable for soloing. Anyway, I got my answer and a warrior is in the making! Thanks everyone!
