Interrupt is not livelike. And if you think alb groups do awesome with OF RA's, it's only because you remember how it was when people still turned with their keyboards.

All 3 realms can have double BoF now, I don't hear any complaints. |

On this server FG´s never pan when they run around, i seen FG`s beeing complently blind to everything around them for long moments. So sneak up with a small man group behind and mezz + VP + MOC pbae should do the trick. ![]() |

Some groups just leave solos/duos alive or don't add. Saying that full groups never pan is just stoopid.

Well most groups dont, specially when running in low fighting zones where its possible to get a good ambush up. And u talk about Uthgard, adding and killing all that is red is standard here, sure maybe ones a day u can see normal rvr behaviour like on live but its rare. Running a small man in emain is suicide so u have to focus on better spots where the enemy dont pay attention to be able to put it of. But there was a lot of complaints back in the days that VP was op so maybe should be something to look up how much dmg it actually does. |

Bla bla bla back in the days, you mean back in the days when spellcrafting didn't exist and people ran around with crap gear, very low resists, uncapped hitpoints etc. yeah ofc...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MxB6v7C ... re=related i rest my case |

Well your case is lost, I'm so sorry. I see a bunch of newbs with poor templates who are too newb to even attack him once in order to interrupt and a wizard with a buffbot and artefacts during the time when %resist pierce on spells was 25% instead of current 10% compared to uthgard where people have capped resists, will attack you on sight, where you won't have a buffbot and you have no resist pierce.
Seriously how can a seemingly intelligent person even consider the way people played daoc 8 years ago and think the same rules still apply to this date... especially considering that video is something uthgard will never be due to reasons listed in my first paragraph. Were you somehow frozen in time ? |
|
This dude played before ToA to and managed fine, Wizard can perform well, specially on higher RR so dismiss is as a usless class is a bit hard i think. Not the best utility but with VP it can be interesting. |
|
You really have a hard time understanding the fundamental differences between daoc in 2003 and emulating daoc of 2003 in 2011, don't you ?

has anything changed ? |

Lemonjelly, you make good points, but sometimes you say things in such a hostile way that people are less inclined to agree with you. Only thing you'll accomplish with that is getting topics locked.
That being said, I thoroughly agree on the fact that players have much more experience and knowledge at this point, and things that may have been true several years ago will not apply here. People play better, things work differently. Also known as: Kiorein, Acolyn, Skiploom, and Krinton.

I can't help being straight-forward, it's not hostility really.
|
|
I can understand that, but sometimes you have to phrase things differently to get through to different people. Especially since in many cases you're dealing with a language barrier.
...But I digress. I dunno how anybody can say that Wizards are a useful class, they simply have no utility. Also known as: Kiorein, Acolyn, Skiploom, and Krinton.

The main difference is that Alb will have access to what is effectively bof3 for 10 points with OF RAs. I don't think many groups right now run around with double bof 3. But they will then. If you don't think that will have an impact - seeing how tank-heavy setups in both hib and mid are right now - you are of course entitled to your opinion. ![]() |
