Making the case for Cure NS

Root still last long enough to kite a fight half a zone away in the meantime ![]() And that is before considering that not all classes even get det, or stoicism to make speccing det to 5 worth it in the first place.
And no ae-version of NS either. ![]()
Why ? Why would it have to be 1.81 cure NS, and not a variation of the TOA cure NS, available to all perfector-classes ? I mean, since we're talking custom changes already anyway, secondary healers like friar and warden could use the added groupability much better than primary healers anyway, so why not add it there ? |

/agree Cure NS would be a casternerf. |

1.) Not every healer will be able to cure NS. Especially self. It's 40 HEAL SPEC. 2.) Curing NS does not make disease useless, as disease: - is an AoE spell, there's no group cure disease and every single disease cure costs 6% power - disease can be reapplied over and over and over
This topic is purely RvR related, your characters all seem to be pve spec and judging from what you write you know very little about group RvR, so I ask you kindly to stop posting in this thread for the greater good. Thank you. Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.

Rofl What's your point? Why a ns(which only affect casters/supports) remedy would be a caster nerf? I think its the opposite of that. Do u really think that NS affects(negatively) more a mid Tank group than a Hib/Alb caster one? Yes their supporters can be nearsighted but yours may be too, and also your casters and in that case their tanks will perform better than your nearsighted casters. I mean, in even conditions(both supporters nearsighted or not) there is no doubt that NS only affect casters and not tanks, that's not entering into gameplay, just facts. I dont wanna discuss about gameplay or tactics cause that has nothing to do with which chars are more affected by NS or not. So u can't be serious affirming that Cure NS is a casternerf. Open your mind and think about it, or maybe it's just that u wanna confuse dumb ppl wich I hope it will not work. P.D.: sorry for my English |

I just hope that the staff won´t listen to the loudest of you people here in forum and stays with its no custom policy. Because with this policy the server is alive much more longer then any other free shard and has the highest pop of all freeshards.
Sounds pretty successful to me and really seems to work. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Midgard players don´t just simply play Daoc - we play Daoc to riun the game for Alb and Hib RvR is what happens while you are here complaining |

Melee range is livelike as well.

Yeah, those poor wizards, theurgists, sorcerers, mentalists, enhancters, spiritmasters and bonedancers. Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.

afaik animist shroom cap nerf was a custom change and the charges amount was a custom nerf too Uthgard already has gone custom ![]() |
|
So is group XP rate, interrupt rate, block rate, resist rate. Hell everything is just as it was on live. Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.

Here you have a clue why GMs are reluctant to custom changes: People will refer to current custom changes to legitimize further custom changes. Exactly what happens here. When a stupid man is doing something he is ashamed of, he always declares that it is his duty.

custom changes doesnt have to be bad
tbh theres a few things id like custom rather than livelike - cure NS (or NS duration) - housing system - animist shroom cap - viper - PD - WOC - AOG few things that just aren't balanced at the setup running atm |
|
Nothing wrong with custom changes. They are needed for balancing. Really needed.
|
|
QFT! Everyone who denies this is just not willing to admit that Uthgard needs (custom) balancing, which is far from correct. |
|
or plays a tank ~~ |
|
Uthgard is following a strict non-customization policy. This means that there won't be a cure nearsight spell. Please do not refer to the change of charges as these are no class-specific abilities.
