no more agra teleporter

Of course. *Didn't I write that?*

And until yesterday you had to pass a camped milegate. But now you still can just take a boat and travel around Agramon, if you want. So you can avoid the one camped bridge and enter Agramon from another side. This way you can even surprise enemies by coming from behind. ![]() |

i don't know if it's friendly or not lol ^^
that's what i call totaly empty... you are a char running around, you don't care about stealthers, you won't try to kill the 2 campers, levelers is not fun , and more friendly to let them leveling.... so there is 1 char around you can fight. let's say you kill him half of the time... so one kill/hour. if you wanna do RPs that's better to do guards missions, you'll get more RPs and at least you can do something else when you are on boat in place of roaming in empty agra.
it's seems you celebrate first may a bit to much ^^ ![]() (btw i think people would play more the day before a day off in place of a day that you have to go to work. so if your goal was to bring people to the real life maybe it's a nice idea, but it doesnt feet with the philosophy against the alcool that I imagined)

Not really, since the supply camp was close to the milegate, other realms couldn't really camp there because of the risk of being zerged. And even if the milegate was camped, you still had the 2nd milegate to avoid them.
If the boats stop bugging it could be an alternative yes ^^ But it would still be much better to have a zone where you have many possible routes and not just one linear bridge to follow for 3 minutes. Even the battlegrounds maps are better because of that... I like Agramon but in my opinion it shouldn't be a main rvr zone. I am assuming direct control.

No worries. I tried to tell you a nice way to make this easier on players under 50 to get to Agramon but now I will camp the bridges.
![]() For the record, there are 2 milegates for a realm and they are 3 times wider then the opening past the agramon bridges. You can also see someone coming way off and adjust easily. No way to adjust for when someone will jump over the wall. Get ready for the avalanche of whiners when they are farmed off the horses. You will just turn Agramon into a 8 man racetrack. Watch the populations spike in BG's again. One step forward. two steps back. I was thinking this was a step toward Old Emain. Boy was I wrong. |

true, camping bridges is a pleasure, if they were some incs at all...
i was on yesterday, trying to make the best of the crap changes. those of you who were there surely noticed, that there were around 5-7 kill messeges in agramon for almost 3 hours during maintime ! personally i had 2 (two!!!) incs in 3 hours camping a bridge. thats ridiculous. so all that happened was, that out of boredom a few people were taking towers all evening without any impact on the rvr (and spaming /broad about how bored they are ![]() maybe you had great goals with those changes, but they obviously fail in practice. btw, did the situation in the capitals improve since the former teleport removal from cots etc. ? im really curious, because i still dont see masses of happy people running around in camelot and socializing in live style. |

RvR is boring now. Most of time.
|

Removing teleporters is the best thing staff did. Stop qq-ing. Agramon should not be the RvR zone of so many players.
I bet if u will try to take a keep/relic you will get your inc fast enough, and u reach the zone by boat in 2 mins. |
|
"Stop QQ-ing" is the best argument ever /clap
Remind me to bring that argument next time you post something, Runis. I could write more, but why bother if my posts get deleted anyway ![]() |
|
i don't know why you take time to answer to answer to runis post and read his argument that are always the same unfounded.
anyway we all know that he is just a *edit by Hedra very kind person

i played very much since the teleporters disapear.
i got the pure singleplayer expierience and i tried everything. camped bridges and docks, camped horseroutes and milegates, ran around for hours (very much fun when your a solo player w/o speed), teamed up, ran again solo etc. and i got to the result: no enemys, no inc, no kill messages around in a huge period of time, avg. 500 rp/h result, no fun in the end i started to do bullshit like killing greys in df or doing guard tasks because of pure boredom. --> the large and empty frontier zone is not worth playing anymore. this is not meant as a whine, i really like uthgard and im impressed how you guys from the staff did this project going but i hope that you realize, that this bad change was a huge mistake and bring back the old system before people quit the game. |
|
wow i'm surprised how many is here for fps action and camping
|
|
Well its only that from now on it always need to be perfect fg since running alone or with duo just for fun gets u killed by bigger groups and it sucks to run 10 mins just to die.
Ofc removing camps is good to fg fights but thats it. |
|
The lack of inc is not the systems fault, but the fault of the people who got used to camping their milegates and running back to the camp when they fail.
The world will look up and shout "Save us!"...and I'll whisper "NO U."

there were much more people around than campers... i played a lot solo/small groups and met often people in agramon during the day time. the cmapers you talk about are only stealthers and some people that wanna grab some RPs when they are alone and there are FGs around. the old system got no really problems. when you were solo it was better ( it's not fun to give RPs to fg that cruise around mg and have no mercy for a solo player) . and when you were in FG it was better, that prevented to be camped by enemies close to your camp and so increase the roaming in agramon ( like it was the case with TK in emain)
