Can you tell us more about this spec like if it's fun and easy to kill ? decent damage ? ^^

Btw, I think there's still a bit too much point, isn't path at 46 ?

Gemma wrote:Before respec with 43 i went composite, spear, stealth and very low bc, with composite minimum at lvl-1.

Now i aim for:

lvl50

Spear 50 +11
Beastcraft 42
Stealth 39 +11
Composite Bow 6

vermutliche RAs ohne Werte: PD,MoS,Purge,IP,Aug Dex

current lvl 45

Spear 45 +11
Beastcraft 38
Stealth 30 +11
Compositebow 1 +3

PD 3
MoS 2
Purge1

Can only tell about my experiences in BGs: In Wilton with lvl43 i lost 80-90% of 1on1 battles with my old spec, with my new spec i won nearly 2/3^^

Im anxious to see how it will be with lvl50 and more RR, though i dont think, that i can hold up this good ratio from wilton

Hunter - Swifty 49.9 right now 4L0
my 50 spec.

Composite Bow 45+14
Stealth 35+14
Spear 39+14
BC 32

Considering dropping BC totally as buff pots and charges just as good of buffs and the pet seems to be totally worthless on this server. I used to charm a level 42 pet in emain and buff it with my buffbot on live and that would make the pet fun and actually useful, but I understand Uthgard is a different world.

I doubt even with higher spear our melee would be much better the spear is just too slow and rangers and assassins just evade too much. Let alone pretty much all our spear styles have a defense penalty and use a lot of endurance. the 39 rear stun style we rarely get the chance to use unless we are adding or are running in a group.

Bow damage needs to be upped and BC should be made more usefull.

be happy about BC as it is...you at least have D/Q self and AF self...thats 2 buffs a scout lack if he is not charging it.

AND...as a hunter you got the chance to charm a healing/buffing pet.
if you play good with pet you know how to hide it well (never let it follow you!!). only problem with the pet...there are less choices so far in NF that a hunter is able to charm since 80% of your own level is pet-level-cap.

Well we can only charm animals and insects and i have never found any out in agra that buff/heal, typically only humanoids buff/heal.

I could get D/Q buff from a charge or potion look at Pathfinding vs Beastcraft and you tell me which set of buffs you rather have ? The 9.3 dps damage add sure jumps out at me.

I would take the ability to shield stun anytime over any lowly level 40 pet, thats for sure.

Swifty, how does your pet perform as an interrupt tool?

it is usefull to defend castles and to kill noobs only, against full crafted chars, PD5 casters have no chances at all

When i played my enchanter at lower levels, ive noticed a pet/mobs/players have reduced chance to intrup casting of spells. For example, if the enemy is yellow con, its like 100% chance. If they are blue, its like 50-75% chance, green is like 15-30%, and gray doesnt intrup much at all , that ive seen. So if his pet isnt blue con vs his enemys, its not good for intrupt i belive. These % are not offical, just so far experence ive seen on my caster at lvl 35.

just a hint:
on uthgard mobs are NOT spezified in animal or insect...you can charm all with every charm you have so far...maybe this will change some day..but now you could even use the 'charm insect' cast on a humanoid.

Funny you mention that because it was only a few weeks ago someone added arachite preists green to 50 in agramon. Funny thing is within the first week somebody made a post "not complaining in any way" about the mobs and within 24 hours the post vanished as did the mobs in agramon.

Very cool, I'll have to try and find some level 40 or so mobs of different types to charm and test them.

My insta pet does interrupt so so but typically casters just Quickcast root mezz whatever cc they have and 3 nukes I'm dead. I have not once lived through a Hib casters stun, Cast times here are so low it's like live was with TOA items , I timed it several times with my friend a dex buffed caster is casting 3 nukes in under 4 secs, I get off 1 bow shot in that same timeframe for typically 200 damage to the caster. The only casters I attempt to mess with are the noobz out XP'ing.
