hi i'm phasist the druid and i was wondering what i should spec for my level 8 nightshade? I was wondering why i can't use poison? it would be helpful if you help me.

Are you sure the poison you're trying to use is equal or lower than your current poison skill level ?

If you have 7+1 envenom you won't be able to use level 9 poisons, for example.

actually he/she would be able to use the lvl8 snare.

7+1=8
he/she is lvl 8
so he could use it.

9+2=11
on lvl10
you can´t use a lvl11 ,but the lvl10 poison.

every poison got a level (rightclick on it and you´ll see its level).
to use a poison you need to reach its level (your charlevel) AND you need to reach the level with your envenom spec.
then drag+drop the poison on the weapon you want to envenom.
thats pretty much it.with the next hit the effect of the poison will proc and you will have to use another vial again to re-envenom your weapon.

How many points have you trained into the Envenom skill?

i think around 3 or 4 pts

Maximum level of poison use is equal to your character level. Minimum you can apply is equal to your Envenom skill plus modifier from armor or items.


Level 10 Ns with 5+1 envenom skill can only apply up to lvl 6 poisons.

If I were you I would max out envenom whenever a new dot is available so you do max damage. Your poison at low levels will do more damage then your weapons.
