AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...SALBEI ROOOOX

hmm.. ah ok its a normal problem, look 2 years ago albion had only 1 sorc and 2 activ clerics, they understood that they need that classes and they leveled them

look at hib, there were only 2 activ bards, 1 good BM, 1 activ VW and some droods and now?

now midgard has the same problem, they need some casters. they thought that casters are just a useless place in a grp or a "DI Bot", now they have a problem :)

some grind-months and maybe mid has a better chance in relic/keep fights

sorry for my english -.-

@Nestral, offtopic r0x:

Totally agree. When i started on Mid just about a year ago I was told to "never roll a caster cause you will NEVER get a group in Agra!" For the last 10 months that has held true but now that they new RvR system is out it has proven that Mid being melee makes them vulnerable. Daily Albs have show us that caster group do own even the best made Mid melee groups. Some say that it just high rr. I dont believe so. They are great at kiting and supporting eachother while the Mid assist train has been mezzed, rooted, stunned and our supporters killed. Since ive seen this I have been using my 3 casters: 37 RM, 45 SM and 44 healer. Maybe Mids will become open minded about caster groups.

Well EdN sometimes did caster grps some months back. Not as good as their tank grp but better than current groups. But then again that's only 1 guild so you're probably right :!:

Its true about mid's and spell casters. I'm a supp SM and my chances of getting a group invite for RvR is maybe 10%. Truthfully I only get invites when a keep is underseige. :(

To be honest. Playing a Caster needs some expertise. So when people dont know you - they seldom group. You can invite a beginner tank , but invinting a beginner caster has a utility of an 1k healpool. When i run in smallgroup i usually invite Caster (especially if they ask) and see if its ok or not. Its easier to give advices in smallgroup than in 8v8.

I guess that if casters are never grouped, they'll never learn...
So before getting good at it, you eat the grass. But you can't help it...
It is frustrating i'm sure but it is a necessity i guess

mm... I took the time to read this whole thing.. its getting longer :)

I haven't played mid here but regardless of the realm, certain rules will apply based on where you rvr.

If you stick to agra, any realm, can get away with having a melee heavy group and doing okay. Obviously, you'll have some issues if you come up against another 8v8 that is caster heavy with good CC options and kites you guys to hell :P But, that's what I consider 'open area rvr'... much like OF.

Now, with the new system here you have to know that if you don't have some sort of caster... AT LEAST ONE, preferably 2-3, you are pretty much useless at keeps and towers.

I've been on alb here for about 2 years now and in the last 5 months there has been a HUGE increase in the number of Theurgists and Clerics that have been leveled. Mainly because, after getting our butts kicked by the mid melee groups, we needed a way to counter you guys. Now it sounds like Mid is in a similar situation and will adapt and level a few casters up... it's not a big deal

The server population is also growing all the time, so just try and convince new players to make whatever classes you'll think the realm will need in 4-5 weeks time (or however long it takes Mids to lvl a 50 here). Generally, that's the advice I give albs who join with their first character... take inventory of the classes that we, as a realm, need more of and offer a few suggestions. Honestly, most people want to play characters that HELP their realm and not ones that will just 'guarentee' them realm points.

Life sucks when you are new and low RR, but thats what Thid is for... take the time to learn the classes there and get to 4L2 and then don't discriminate again'st sub RR5 or RR6 classes when its time to form groups. The more people you give a shot the better they will get and the more options you will have as a realm in the long run.

P.S. Your stealth classes are one of your most important sources of intel... use them. I know that I spam /broad when I see you guys around, hope you do the same when you see the Albs/Hibs.

Cheers.

Hope to see more squishy casters out soon
