well I have found out that if you want something in the battles, you need to ask for it loudly and repeatedly, preferably using /tell so I made macro for macros and always keep it in sync with group pala. However as you can see it doesn't work so great :P

constructive criticism to help improve playstyle = stupid "commends"?

while I don't fully agree with nerd about zero prekiting and use of spreadheal to heal one person (oO where exactly did this happen?) it is usually critics that pushes you forward and too much praise that pushes you down because you start to underestimate enemy.

It was same with my guild, they almost never said anything when I saved them in tight situation but always ****** when I failed to heal someone, eventually it ****** me off and I asked them if they really think I am such a bad healer:
Their answer - if we would praise you all the time, you would eventually start plaing bad

and they were right.

edit: kiky, are you sure you got the right video? ;)

Nice little vid, I liked it.

Can't agree with the critics by nerd, well played cleric as far as I can tell.

What's with the jumping about though? :p

tbh I didn't know I jumped so much when I play, it is kind of annoying to watch isn't it? :D

well every time I /face I instantly jump to break face so I can move faster and when I am rupted or ****** or sometimes for no reason I jump :P

didnt really feel like putting more text into my post, but i will just for the hell of it

Savages catch up to you. They dont have charge. More panning and prekiting (starting to run before they actually start chasing you, or as soon as you see them even come your direction) means they would never hit you unless they run on faster speed. This doesn't happen at all in your vid - instead you let them hit you and start strafing to try to make up for it (lol imo).

If you watch the movie you'll see some times where only 1 or 2 people are taking damage and you use a spreadheal (and they weren't out of LOS). That's what I meant. Panning more to see who's actually about to take damage would also solve this (or just being on vent tbh).

That being said, I'm sure you still play better than 99% of this server already.

Doesnt really matter if u use that single heal or group heal, as long u get the job done. You hardly ever do things perfectly in fight atleast i dont and no one cares aslong as they stay alive.

Made me almost smile when I read those critical comments about the gameplay how it should be done.

I think it was pretty obvious I did see them coming but I always though hmm let's finish this cast, most of the time it worked, sometimes it didn't. This is based on my overall playing experience and against pretty much any other group this would work. I guess I could prekite sooner but for some reason I am being attacked very rarely /shrug

several times they caught on me it was because if I would run further I would be out of range to heal my group I needed to turn around and that is the time when they are pretty much bound to catch me unless I do really big circle (impossible at the place we fought)

about the spreadheal, unfortunately spreadheal although it's cost is outrageous it is still cheaper than two major heals while healing for more (in fg) so using it to heal two people is actually still effective (weird huh) also in the second fight my group was diseased and I had NS on me so spreadheals was pretty much my only option. I watched the movie and while I did sometimes use one spread to heal one person it was usually when I expected someoen else to take damage also or when I used PR.
I actually spread quite rarely.

your logic is flawed

if it doesnt get the job done its unacceptable, and it wont get the job done against better enemies

the idea of criticizing vids is so you can get better at the game, so smile all you want and stay a noob :)

ohh come on it just prooves that you aren't that expirienced If you run from a savage not hitting you he will get healer speed anywhen so he gets you and while running no healing and i prefer healing too before running

and all in all you criticism sounds too negative for me if you would have said next time watch you did 1) 2).... it doesn't sound so negative and is more an advice, becouse i think he did a good job.
