Trebs indeed are able to attack doors but they are very weak in that. Doors are a tertiar target for Trebs.

OK back to shrooms. Make new threads about siege weapons if it needs discussion.

mal abgesehen davon..

animisten seuche in den BG's ... kein wunder das die mid bevölkerung immer weniger wird .. es geht gelinde gesagt aufn geist.

I've spoken to ex-mids, they complain about the end-RvR attitude, not shrooms lol :)

hmm I know this is OT but what kind of attitude? For me, agra is usually fun until mids decide to log 3 fgs and run in stick /shrug

I havent read everything in this thread, i just dont feel like it, but here is what i know about the animist pets.

A single animist can only cast 15 pets at one time, and 30 shrooms in one area at one time total. So to have 30 pets, that requires 2 animist. I dont have an animist on this server, so if a single animist can cast more then 15 in one area, then that is a bug. And im talking about the FnF shrooms, not the controlled pet.

Also casting pets isnt free, so there is a cost to the animist to cast them, and the pets dont have alot of HP. They only have a 1000 Unit range, or should. They do not run around or fallow the caster. And placing shrooms on a keep/tower for defense or offense is a strat. If they can see the GT, then there shouldnt be anything wrong. Someone can simply mez the pets also or AoE/Grp attack them to kill them. Now you may say, well your a melee class and cant cast on them or anything like that. Well that happens in daoc sometimes. Some classes have an edge on other at diff times. If someone was a class that could mez or aoe the shrooms, well then the pets would be not as good. Also remember, these pets have a mind of there own. The animist cant tell it to attack a single target or not to attack. Use your head, dont let these pets out smart you LOL.

So if there is any bugs that goes agenst classic live setup, they need to be fixed. But other then that, i hope we will avoid custom nerfs, because some people cant out smart the game AI lol.

i am very confused by the animist pets. i have been away for some months and i come back and uthgard is suffering from the same overpowered and imbalanced pet problems which killed the live servers. why did they impliment this garbage? i was fighting an animist just now and he instantly casted an uncountable number of these things and as soon as he casted them they instantly dealt several thousands of damage to me. such an imbalance is preposterous. why cant every other template instantly deal an unlimited amount of damage with one uninterruptable spell?

Casting Shrooms instantly should not be possible. Neither the mentioned amount nor should they themselves cast instantly. You should really report this horrible bugabuse to a GM. This is not tolerable.
