10/12 hits intercepted by SM pet today
starting to record my SM encounters because i seriously believe this intercept chance is wrong |

unless you manage to produce a 1000 hit sample in a row it wouldnt prove anything
i sometimes have 4 resists against my lifetap in a row... which also should be near impossible but it happens |

we can test whenever we meet though ![]() i feel like im always having those unlucky resists at the worst times as well (me vs darkblue, both at 5%, i do quickcast lifetap, resist... me vs xelariaen, i do root, resist, qc root cos he's hitting me, resist ^^... i could continue like that for a long time ^^) on the other hand i have the feeling that every cast from enemy casters hits me ![]() guess its sometimes a matter of perception and sometimes just real bad luck im not saying its impossible that there is still an error but after all the tests that were done when pets WERE bugged i dont think that exactly the one bug that was most thoroughly tested has remained... |

@Nixian, I often have series with more than 10 hits by an enemy/mob without any intercept.
This issue was discussed in multiple other threads on the buggy (?) random generator. On Uthgard the random is always in series. E.g. with SM either the pet intercepts everything or nothing. The hit/hit/hit/hit/hit/hit/intercept/intercept/intercept/intercept/intercept/intercept pattern is the standard <img src="http://metty.the-bart.org/other/daoc/sig.php?name=Voras&s=1">

I've noticed this same thing when crafting. While making some quick-to-make trinkets, 1-2 seconds build time I always get 5-10 items in a row of identical quality. I started wondering why I made 7 masterpieces in a row and noticed the same goes for all other qualities too. |

Some items stack in slots of 10, like trinkets, and they cant stack unless they are same quality. I guess this is kinda bug , it should be random quality and should stack on the same slot as its quality. But who cares about trinkets, there are more important things to do.. |

has nothing to do with the random generator.
hinges stack - you will notice that once you start a new stack the quality will change and stay the same until the next stack. quality doesn´t affect hinges in any way - so that has nothing to do with sm pets at all. afterall hinge quality has no affect at the game at all . price is the same and you won´t craft any better ![]() |

Yea yea, I know it has no effect on anything, but the client still gives them some quality. I never thought it would be because of stacking. Ignore me, Ill go back to my box now. |

@ Random generator:
Its no bug. I observed such phenomens in other branches and games too and it seems to be a "random" problem at all, as "generated randomness" is generated and no real randomness. I dont think that such a problem will ever be solved. And the other way round...how often did you noticed that you just hit dozen times in a row? Most people dont notice because they accept it as normal to be lucky. |

i notice often resist chains too...
