Hi guys,

I just started leveling on this freeshard and was wondering what is the rvr scene on this freeshard?

Thank you,

Nayas

Hi and welcome!

This is how the system works as of last Sunday: http://www.uthgard-server.net/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=9473

At the moment the scene is still shaping up after last weekends change. We've had some zerg wars lately with the new relics but 8v8 still exists. Albs have two FGs out most nights. Hibs sometimes one or two or none at all. Mids have been zerging most of the time before the change.
During non-primetime hours you'll find plenty of solo'ers/duos/small groups.
There's not really one dominating realm. It just shifts around. Few months ago Mid was boss, then hib, now alb, etc....

But like I said: RvR is still shaping up anew so maybe things will turn around in the next couple of weeks.

awsome! good news. I love small group pvp and 8v8/zerg busting.

Will be good fun once i get 50 ;)

On another note, is it easy to level healing class on this freeshard or no one really grouping?

Well I levelled a bard and druid to 50 and most of the time there's not too many around so it shouldn't be too hard. There should always be someone around your level grouping at prime time. If you don't find a group straight away see who's online in your level range and try putting something up. Don't know what class you're planning on playing but team up with a tank and start from there. Play a bit in the battlegrounds too for extra XP and some RAs to help u level and you'll get there ;)

Hi,

Thx for reply.

I'm planning on either druid or healer. Maybe a caster but im not 100% sure. I'm not ditching albs, but i have had bad experience with alb RvR on live server ... scared to level and ends up finding only zerglings or players that are kinda clueless about RvR >.<

Albs on my live server were kinda the same ^^ On Uthgard it's okay actually. Ofcourse you have some clueless players but they're the only realm who actually turned in RvR the last week with decent 8-man groups. This changes from month to month though but there are pretty good players there so don't let that keep u back. Hibernia is a little messy atm. It's mostly crappy PUGs atm.

I think the best advice is to just roll what ever u feel like the most. By the time u reach 50 the situation might have changed yet again. It's been said a thousand times but with a druid/healer u really can't go wrong.

as for your druid/healer comment, my only fear is having to solo or not able to find a group ... which make it really hard to level lol ;)

As a healer u wont miss groups, spec Aug till 17 that u get green Group

haste and as mid is mostly a fighter realm u'll find it good and with that spec

u can easy lvl solo pretty good then at 20 if u find in the while some caster

friend u can still respec and go to Paci, either at 40...In my personal

experience i started on Uth with a zerk, left at 44 then brought hardly a sb

till 50 then zerk to 47..then really eas and in few time my healer was 45

now zerk is 50 too and healer .1 away from 50 to leave Thidranki

entrance allowed till i'm 4L2...also really easy to get group especially if u

can play your class and u dont play as a bot, there are not too many

healers on mid and someone is always spamming in broad looking for

some of them
3 spec to lvl is very good and atm i'm still using it in rvr
send me in game for info and help will be glad to-
Rakj
