Whgich is more recent, and can catacombs stuff be accessed with shrouded isles? becasue i have both, am running on shrouded isles and cant seem to make a warlock.

Catacomb stuff are not implemented...
Neither i think SI and ToA items are (but i can be wrong)


and Catacombs is newer then SI,
but Darkness Rising is newer then Catacombs...

no you cannot use the updater. You need the DR-update-file and you need a complete CATA-installation, because the DR-update builds the new game from the file and the old CATA-installation. (But since the installation just ask for a folder, maybe the installation could work, but I don´t think so.) And in the end, you get a nice DR-installation V1.81, which isn´t supported by DoL at the moment (so you have to copy the old game.dll from your CATA-folder to the DR-folder, which leaves you with a CATA-installation with DR-graphics, or you try to get a game.dll V1.80)

Banjo is right. That's why it's called Catacombs Darkness Rising Updater.

If Trials of Atlantis is already installed on your computer, the easiest way to get Catacombs would probably be to edit your update.dat. Change .../atlantis/... into .../catacombs/..., start Camelot.exe, and voila. This way you will only be downloading the additional Catacombs files (~ 800 MB). If you are using the US server, though, you'll probably be facing the same version conflict as with Darkness Rising, so make sure you have selected the European server for the download.
