I have been wondering , is it ok to log a second char on, if its not a buffbot or being used to power level yourself. For example, i have two rangers on this server. a lvl 30 char ranger and my normal luri ranger which is level 48.8 :-) . Now my luri is a SC and my shar is a alchemst. Now when i make my pots for my main ranger, id have to log out one and log the other in, then find someone to transwer my items. Which is annouying, when i could easly duel account it.

Now they are both rangers, so i dont think hes a buffbot lol, and im not intrested in Powerleveling the other toon, which i know doing that isnt allowed, when it benifits yourself. Can i duel account my ranger, for transfering stuff , and trade skills ? I also use my shar as a extra vault too. Just wondering , so i dont get into trouble. I could see this as a problem if my other char was a druid. Could be suspisus, but its a none buffer class.

Not even for simple item muling.
But you could buy a house or ask a friend with a house to get access to place items in the house vault. So you can transfer your stuff from char to char.

Hi Eclipsed, simple read our rules:

§2.10 Logging in 2 accounts for own benefits is not allowed for one user in any case. This includes Buffbots, a second character in group, another character crafting and even a mule character. Any violation will result in immediate account termination.

Tommez gave you some examples of legal trading.

cheers

Or join a guild with a house and place items in their vault and relogin to grab them with alt.

You can also buy Deer arches in the Garden menu outside the house and put them in the vault. Then login your alt and he can resell them back to the garden vendor for no gold loss. I think they are 25-50gp each. Its a easy way to transfer gold without muling.

i'll get blamed for this but i think a more reasonable answer would be.

NO it's not allowed, BUT if you log 2 chars during 3 mins in your capital city to mule some items. GM won't even notice it, won't be able to see that's not 2 different players, and i am sure even if they see you doing that, they won't tell you anything...

but if ever you try to abuse that to craft with 2 chars or things like that, you'll be jailed

let alone i would advice pana not to tell people such stuff on the forums ^^

If we noticed that what panachier described we will punish this according to our rules, there is no exception.

If you drive to fast, it's your decision but if the police notice that you must pay for it...

When you accept the rules you make our life as GM easier and be sure that we notice it when you breach of the rules.

cheers

your just foolish pana xD

staff has log over IP logins and can EASY see if someone logs in 2 toons at a time no matter time frame etc - so everyone - dont do this!

this has got to be the most stupid advice given over forums .. ever.. panch.. this is even more dumb than those "kill greys" topics.. sigh..

and please think twice before posting such rubbish as it might have a huge impact on newb players as you are quite an old player yourself, you should know better... :x
