As the video tutorial link is broken and nobody can reply to that thread saying that it is, I was hoping someone could explain to me how to patch the client with Tajendi... I downloaded the mod onto my desktop (using Windows XP) which appeared in WinRAR, then extracted it to c:/Dark Age of Camelot - Catacombs/ (for some reason i run darkness rising and it runs off that folder) but when i open the DaoC portal Mod Manager it cant see the tajendi file.

I also have the old quickbar icons, someone told me that might cause problems with Tajendi...

Any help?

Thanks!

1. Download Tajendi - *link missing*

2. Unpack it

3. put the resulting uth_tajendi.dmm into the mods subdirectory of your DAoC Portal Installation - default is c:\program files\daoc portal\

4. Run DAoC Portal, open the Mod Manager

5. check the checkbox on the line of uth_tajendi and hit the button "Patch!"

6. Connect to Uthgard, if you notice the text/tips on the zone loading screens has changed to something very strange, you're ready to play Tajendi.

6a. I especially love "Tip: /macro assist /qtd" :P

7. When playing the Tajendi Mod, take your time. Read the texts, listen to the sounds, enjoy the subquests. Could take 4 hours if you want to see everything, so make sure you are playing with relaxed players that won't quit as soon as they got a nice drop :)

Dont have a Mods subdirectory in my DAoC Portal directory. What now?
Do I have to copy it just in the portal main directory? Or do I have to create a sub-directory and call it "Mods"?

Or is the Mods directory called "contents", which is the only sub-directory i got there.

Try that, if it doesn't work, ask again.
