Lately I noticed that Confusion interrupts with every ticks.
According to camelotherald.com Confusion is supposed to work like this: "Target has a chance to switch targets that they are fighting. There is a smaller chance that they will actually attack one of their own allies." A description on daoc.catacombs.com/cbuilder2.cfm states this: "Confusion - A spell that causes %t to attack those it hates randomly. The second percentage is the percentage of time it attacks it's friends. This spell has no effect in RvR." Both don't mention anything about interrupt in ticks, the second one even states it would be useless in RvR. What I saw so far was this:
The per cents I listed are somewhat equal to the chances for Confusion to make a mob attack a fellow mob, so I think it might just be a little bug in coding. Would be nice if anyone could test it, I dont have either class available to figure it out myself. |

Actually confusion didnt rupted until ~7month?
The change about confusion can be found in /changelog^^ And yes: Red > Yellow > Blue > Green .... So what? Do you have some valuable sources "for confusion not rupting in RvR"? Greetz Nes Inactive

There's one thing buggy about it though.
When you confuse a mob and it should go attack a mob, it just sticks it, but doesn't attack. Phooey ! |
|
confusion should rupt only on the first tick... but not sure.. i have no source to show

Q: What does Confuse do in Player-versus-Player encounters?
A: The Minstrel Confusion Shout works against some pets, but not against others. For example, Confusion can be used against a Druid’s pet, but not against a Bonedancer’s. Confused pets will randomly seek enemy targets. They will not attack their owners. Confusion has no effect on players, but it will interrupt casters if you confuse them while they are casting a spell. This is widely regarded as the best use for Minstrel Confusion in PvP. source: http://camelotvault.ign.com/?dir=guides/albion&content=minstrel other post in french: - Confusion (note étourdissante) Permet de perturber une cible pendant 30 sec avec un délai pour le relancer (recast).

Could anyone please test it on live now?
I really doubt it is working as it uses to be on live right now, a 90 seconds rupt with a single buff is really no what seems true. And none of the source that have been named yet state that there should be rupt over and over again. Or could any GM write a statement about this? Was there already a test or why was it implemented like this? |

Bump.

So it also says it will interruppt them while casting, but not furthermore after this ruppted cast, right. So it does, like the other link says, ruppt on the first second, when casted on someone and thats it. |
|
On Uthgard it does interrupts in ticks. |
|
Thats what i wanted to point out.
We know that it ruppts on Ticks and this is a bug. I just tried to show the others how to understand this Description. |
