Hello Community,

here comes a short weekend newsflash. Since this week we have some new midgard quests implemented:

--> Copious Striders

--> Clippa's Claw

--> Hunting Party

--> Silent Death

--> Preemtive Strike

Besides that we have some news about the /report function. From now on some important /report will be presented (along with the solution) in a forum topic in the bugreport section. We'd like to point out that the staff reads every /report being written. Please see to it that your reports are comprehensible for the staff.

There have also been changes in the dragonzones and darkness falls. From now on all special dragon/df-highlevel mob items will have a level 50 requirement (as it is on live servers). The loot changes will take place in the next week.

Furthermore we'd like to warn you about faked reskin items at the auctioneers in all three realms. There have been items at the auctioneers that may fool a inexperienced into thinking that they are real reskins. So, here a small hint: All items named as letter are NOT an official reskin. Real reskins have a "scroll"skin and are NOT named as letters but have a callGM addidtion. So, take care!
Some hint for the abusers: We won't tolerate such behavior.

So, I wish you all a nice (rest)weekend on uthgard. Have fun playing here.

I don't think loot restriction of dragon drops to 50 will enhance the server. On albion the dragon raids are greatly done by 40+ and not by all level 50 chars. Why should a level 40-49 want to do dragonraid if he/she can't equip the armor/weapon. So I say, you should reconsider that as admins. I thought Uthgard was a server with his own ideas and not just a server who wants to be just like live, else I would play live.

But I know, you always want to make it harder for albion. You take the last funny part away. I don't think people can hold albion for long. But I always will be with Albion or I just quit the game.

Of course all the changes that there have been in the past were decided by a vast hatred against Albion... :roll:

Afaik there are no level locks to weapons or armor, it's just the procs/charges which have level requirements so I don't understand, what is the problem ...?

I second that.
It's a SHAME seeing how some whole guilds left Albion to going Midgard...SHAME ON YOU.
[ironic mode on]yes, now we can see a real and true realm balance system rvr, rps, population, etc...[ironic mode off]

Would be good being sure if before v1.80 Dragon items were lv50 prereq...
Staff is testing lot of thing on live servers "TODAY", that's not the point if you are willing to manage a v1.80 server.

Well, it's a stupid idea anyway... since dragon drops are only usefull before u reach lvl 50. After that u want to get a your own temp anyway. So what u achieve is that u just make it harder for new players.

Yes, that's why 90% of mid population has DRAGONSTORM.
The world will look up and shout "Save us!"...and I'll whisper "NO U."

What happened to the whole livelike idea ?
This won't change much to the game except ****** people off, I mean what is the point ?

WHY put a level cap on items ? It's already capped by level:
AF is capped by level.
DPS is capped by level.
Charges and procs are capped by level.
Stats are capped by level.
What are you capping now ? The shiny effect ?
It's another one of those decisions that change nothing but ****** people off.
