Does Master of Blocking realm ability increase in any way your chance to slam with your shield(in other words increse you shield weaponskill to let you slam easily without miss/get blocked/get parried)?

its called mastery of BLOCKING...not mastery of shieldattack..

Ok so I can invest only in shield skill and dexterity to miss less then.
Ty for your answer.

If an enemy face you when you try to slam him on his back you can be blocked/parried and however there is always a certain chance to miss, and this chance decreases when your shield weaponskill increases(like standard weaponskill).

To hit with your sheild is based off your weapon skill.
and your attributes. like str or dex

If you use a Blade then its only based off str.
If you use a trust type weapon then its 1/2 str 1/2 dex.

so to get a higher weapon skill then spec more in one handed weapons what ever type of weapon you get then add in that attribute score ^^

If you use Blade type weapons Dex will then only help you Block Not to help you hit better ^^...

Now attacking from the Side or Behind, Your oppent loses Defence if you attack from there giveing you a higher Rate to hit.
the Stun Skills from blocking do suck as in they dont give you any pluses to hit so it make that job hard ^^

But for group play it should be easy to get a side/back attack off.
For Solo Play It is alot harder ^^ Open with the Fireblade chain then after you finish those 2 use the stun :+)

A) The style itself, as well as the level of the user/target affects hit/miss rates. Shield weaponskill derived from stats like dex and shield spec will aid in penetrating block/parry/evade, but will not affect hit/miss rates.

Ty I found that just now so I finally know that my shield weaponskill is completely based on dex and shield spec, no mob ra involved in this.
It is also interesting that shield weaponskill does not interfere with miss rate but only with enemy block/parry/evade rate as you can read.
