I think having lots of greys in Braemar who just want to leech xp sucks.
What do you think?

no offense, but what are all those polls supposed to do?
Blue (or Presto? or someone else from staff? ^^) said that Braemar will (might) be restricted to certain levels once there's more low level content in the game

okay ^^
to contribute something productive: i really don't think a restriction should be introduced
people who go to braemar too early get kicked cos of RR before they hit 35 anyways
and its a nice way to gain some RPs for 1 or 2 RAs that make lvling a lot easier :)

They took exp bonus to a low, then gave bonuses in Agramon then took those away under 40.

Why not kick everyone under 35 in the nuts and get it over with or put a sign on the door that sais ****** off newb. :x

Think on the bright side. You can level all your friends legally in your group while RVRing in Braemer.

Or are you in one of those elitest snob guilds?

i am not in those socalled elite guilds....but some things i hate...

toones below level 5 that run around in breamar TK and scream LEVEL ME LEVEL ME..and than just sit around and d nothing...

or

grey/green chars who scream for buffs if there are higher, more important chars in group who need buffs more because they are more usefull...(eg: a grey merc in group screams for specbuffs when there is a solo buffer that has to buff hole group. and is not stopping to bother buffer after explaining)

and such behavior gets more and more...its time to stop that NOW!!
restrict the BG´s exclusive to the levelrange they are supposed to be.

only exception is when the lower level has reached RR-cap of the BG below.
i miss my Lady....

OMG, so you went to a zone meant for levels 1 to 35, and then complain about meeting some greys.
You know, that's actually a lot like going to DF to level, then complaining about meeting enemies out to RvR instead.
If you don't want to see greys, but still only start going there lv30+, YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG.

And looking at your sig, what are you doing in Braemar anyway ? Actively trying to ruin Lv50 RvR, are you ?
You're supposed to play in Agramon, so go out there as is your duty for realm and server! :P

If it really is making Braemar unattractive for players that have rr5+ chars already, I really can't see why anyone would want to change this.

I can kill purples with my grey Theurgists, solo. So, why I shouldn't get RP?

As I wrote in other topic, dead player shouldn't get RP, but not in Uthgard.

Braemar 1-35 is good for fun play. If you want to keep twink, do it but at 50 lvl. Don't like braemar? Don't go there.

So I levelt my lastest Chars in BG's too, but I always helped as much as I could.

For example I had a lvl 14 Cleric and yes he did help a lot by buffing and healing a bit. Same thing as I was in a group: 33 bard (me) 35 Eld + 6 below lvl 20 (2 druids, 4 caster) vs 2 groups albs... we won!

Of course I hate it too if a lvl 5 char comes to me and crys for inv/buffs etc.

I never buff lows, if there are higher ones in my group which need buffs and of course I kick ppl that do not stay with the group (doesn't matter which level) or do not help.

So its your decision if u help lower ppl or if u dont. I guess u will always take ur friends in group not caring about their level - but thats just because you know they will help and play in a decent way.

if im groupleader i always invite chars above lvl 5 (because i think lvling from 1 in braemar is just laziness, besides you have to port back to choose your class in order to keep on lvling ^^)

they wont get buffs though, except they're healers or something like that

but that's just common sense... if someone who gets invited into a higher grp (which is kind of an act of welfare :D ) starts with being rude he will probably find himself without any group very soon

To make this clear, I have nothing against greys in Braemar. Thats not the point. The accentuation in my initial post lies in "who just want to leech xp".

The point is that at the moment, you are silly if you level your char to lvl 20+ via PvM. Its very very much faster if you get a RvR group in Braemar. You can go there with lvl 5 and if you are lucky, you are lvl 20 in a short time.

But I think, thats not DAoC as it´s meant to be. I think, doing PvM should be necessary to get your char ready for Braemar.

daoc as it's meant to be is kinda hard to determine

as far as i can remember from my live time (1 month after american release, for 1 year) they already had BG-awards in the game back in there
so you got for your first lord-kill in the bg a medal which you could turn in for XP (i think around 1 full levelup)

... and people who want to level their char the "usual way" (maybe cause they are new to the game) don´t find anyone to group with, cause everybody does it the faster "braemar way".

I also like the idea of getting a xp-reward for killing braemar lord 1st time or reaching a bgs cap.

yeah that still was my favorite suggestion of all ^^

i think once the additional lowlevel content is in the game things will normalize again...more or less :P
