I have a quick question -

So I have the following files:

a) 14 Day Trial (1.9 gig)
b) Trial to Catacomb Setup (1.2 gig)
c) LOTM setup (511 mb)

Now I am wondering something >

1. Do I need the : catacombs_to_darkness_setup.exe (ie: is it used on this server at all?)

If not, would I simply do the following to start playing:

> Install 14 day trial (done)
> Install Trial to Catacombs (asks for the 14 trial dir, but wants it's own install directory)
> Install LOTM setup

Then I would rename my camelot.exe file (camelot2.exe)

Then I would add the following lines to my update.dat file:

update.dat for DAoC Darkness Rising:

Mythic Patch
patch.camelot-europe.com:1280/updates/english/darkness/mpatch.dat
patch.camelot-europe.com:1280/updates/english/darkness/mpatch.dat


update.dat for DAoC Labyrinth of the Minotaur:

Mythic Patch
patch.camelot-europe.com:1280/updates/english/labyrinth/mpatch.dat
patch.camelot-europe.com:1280/updates/english/labyrinth/mpatch.dat

let the patcher run, then start up the portal client and connect?

I just want to make sure I am following the proper steps so I don't have to mess about with trying to downgrade installs, or have to reinstall files.

I currently only have the 14 day trial installed at the moment so, I figured I would ask before I took any further steps.

I decided to go ahead and grab the Darkness expansion as well, figured might as well, while I was waiting for a response here, so I have that as well now.

you don´t need lotm to play on uth cata and maby dr is enough
