I think Mythic intended the game to be Realm vs Realm and not Group vs Group. Mythic surely intended the game to have epic battles and not small fights. Like mentioned the enemy ratio does it. The more players fight against many enemies the easier to fight.
Difficulty = enemy players / own players So with that in mind we could say: 4 vs 8 = Difficulty +100% 8 vs 12 = Difficulty +50% 25 vs 30 = Difficulty +20% 60 vs 70 = Difficulty +16% The more player the less influence has the difference in counts in my opinion. Also with more players you have more selection on targets to kill. So its a good thing to have as many players as possible in a zone. Even when you get killed fast you can kill others fast too because you have a wide range on targets to select from. Its better than no kill in 1 hour. It's done when it's done. And lot of people does not mean 45 players stick to each other, but groups roaming and when you find a fight.. well, you fight, for your realm victory no matter if there are 1 or 2 or 3 groups, this is a realm war ! |

i agree with all of you... nobody said to other people " don't come in rvr we are already a fg"
usually they say stop following us to leech some kills, if you wanna rvr, go on your side, if you meet enemy group, we won't add you so they'll stay in rvr and we can ll have fun, so please don't add in our fight we wanna have fun in rvr. 8vs8 is nice 8vs 10 is oki 8vs 16= no more rvr.... or everybody got mass rvr or no more rvr. zerg can even be a group of 5 or 6. if it's 4pm and you fight 3vs3 and one realm bring 2 more players ... rvr is dead. the problem is not really zerg or not zerg, it's just killing rvr or having fun. when there are 8 mids in agramon you are 4 albs trying to find a fg. after 15 mins mids tell you " we leave hib are zerging , cu later" i think that' s a problem. sure everybody is free to play in rvr as he want. personnaly i think it's not fun to take keeps being 24 without enemies in front. but one more time it's my point of view and if i am the only one, i suppose i'll be out and people will raid keeps one after the other with a zerg till other realm build a zerg and take keeps without enemies in front. <img src="http://www.fallenearth.fr/daoc/daoc2.php?player=Panachou">

I like this gauge. You take your realm party out to fight another realm party. If you get 0 kills and all die after a couple tries then its impossible odds and time to log. That is a Zerg. 50 vs 8 is fine if there is a chance to get some rps.
We had 2fg + a few against a mid group of maybe equal amount but they were much better grouped and all 50th with 3L0 + ra's. We got 0 kills vs them so we all were discouraged and logged. That is the problem in Agramon. Just because you are in agramon does not mean you are equal to another player. So 8vs12 doesn't mean crap and I wish everyone would stop with the player counts. ![]() |
