Any toon that is level 35 or higher will con yellow to a level 50. Mythic did that a while ago to stop people from just trying to kill all the lowbies and not go for people their own level. And also there was a rule change recently.

Thus we could remove the old rule §2.9 (powerleveling and buffing/healing prohibition). It is now allowed to help other players leveling in every manner. For example a level 1 supporter is now allowed to level with a level 50 fighter. Of course this is only allowed, if each character is controlled by one single player.

level 35 are grey but looks yellow before killed, and every char over 35 will look yellow for level 50 till you kill them.

i don't know really... maybe to avoid you kill the low green healer in a group of blues in DF and so you can kill more easily the other ones.

but i know it s the same on live server so...

they change that on live servers about 4 years ago.

The perpose: people were complaining that they kept getting killed from lv 50s while they XPed lv 35+ just because they con green/blue. and so to make it alittle harder for other players they just desided to make it all Yellow for RvR.

Also it being Yellow helps main RvR as well if you have a light support in group thats only lv 40 he/she will be yellow. if a enemie would Inc most of the time would go for a Green/blue Healer realy quick then finish off the others ( just becuse most green/blues get smasshed in 3 hits )

but those where to 2 main reasons. Once i find the grab bag on the hearld I'll post it ^^

I had kill Yellow Albs which turn grey (they were level 35),
and i had kill Yellow Albs which didn't turn grey after killed but green (level 35 too).

It seems not be always the same rule.

Players of the opposing realm will show as yellow when they're lower level and /anon.
If they're not anon they'll con normally according to their level.
