Agramon enemy counter

Could it be possible to put a counter in /realm which says how many people of what realm are in agramon, also /anon?

Something like: 0 alb - 2 mid - 1 hib
In this way if you see enemy in agramon you can go there knowing you will meet someone. It's a bit frustrating for me going there, running around gates and agra keep for 20 minutes and don't find anyone almost always

It could be good also when there are fg running, if I see 9 mids - 9 albs - 1 hibs and there is already a fg mid, I could always try to go agramon because I know there is 1 alb and 1 hib alone too.

Also, if there are 0 enemy, I could stay in agramon with the hope ( :twisted: ) that someone see there is an enemy and come to fight me^

This counter should show just people in agramon, so there is no matter how many people are in homekeep or other nf zones and you are SURE that those people are in a zone where you can kill them :P

On the other hand this keeps the Zone empty,cause if you see 0 enemys you won´t enter the Zone at all.We had this Problem sometime ago when they implemented this for Emain.So i doubt this will come.

nice idea

such a counter on the main homepage might encourage ppl to come to agra as they see that it s not empty.



for bgs:
apart from this it would show the ppl if other realms did log out after wipe, and tell whether it has any sense to wait for inc or not




Edit: hmmm , mfassben explanation now makes me uncertain about this :D

I don't want to put it in the site, but when you log in the /realm info or some other command.

@Islana: I don't see this other hand because in the 90% of time everyone knows there is none, except when someone takes a keep.

The matter is: if I now want to log in agramon, I'm almost sure there won't be anyone and I could wait there for hours alone. If I have that counter, I could see if there is an enemy and decide to go there or I could simply log there and wait for someone looking at counter. Also I won't have to run around with none, I could simply start running when I see other people

IMO this feature can't damage the rvr system.

As i said,we alrdy HAD THIS once.And the result was dead RvR for 3 Weeks,then they removed it again.Suddendly ppl began cruising again hoping for Enemys.When you see 0 ppl in Agra you will just log into a BG,if you hope that there are Enemys you will more likely go there.

Sorry though you just had this same problem in emain^

Many people said the rvr is much worse than before with emain, there could be a try^ actually you can wait for enemy 1-2 times at day, but then if none comes it gets too boring

So if a counter is actually counterproductive , how about about just a realmwide message once an enemy enters agramon ? Could be triggered by passing or opening a milegate, or even just a special emote to announce your presence to the enemy realm, obviously on a long timer to prevent spamming.

If i remember right comand /emain was working for a long time and it wasnt that bad. Unfortunately i also think it wont improve our rvr system. It's you Demiurgo who said "if i see there is noone in Agra i wont come". Other players will do the same and Agramon will stay empty for the whole day. The only reason to implement such a comand in my eyes would be lvling spots in rvr zone. If you log in early morning and get 1-2 ppl in Agramon result you will know there are lvlers to hunt^^ but i also doubt it will change anything. Actually every realm (maybe hibs not that often but still..) thinks it's the best way to create as big grp as possible and own everything in rvr zone. All of you can see the results. Agramon is empty after 1-2 fights.

Actualy us albs, UB....FB...the rest that grp wit us allwayz start out small,to check if theres something,then,if we cant take em, build up,very rarely we form ( or can for that matter ) a fg....theres an xeption in the face of the germans usualy,who roam solo or then build a fg from scratch.
No offence ofc,its just how it is in my eyes;)
On the counter part, me and my gf roam sometimes in the morning parts and ofc wed love it,usualy we end up with nothing,or a few mids turn into lots etc etc that we cant take simply goz theres no albs on etc etc.. Anyway guess this couldnt b done,but mby that command could b implemented in a way that u can only use it close to agra ck,in that way ud have to log on and run there,would get more people in agra...etc...
In general its a stupid idea i guess,this counter thing wont prolly work in any way u try to figure it out.

@ Cespx: It depends on the player. If I WANT to do rvr, I log in agramon and I know that every people who wants to do rvr like me can see me and it will come. This is what happens most of time imo:
1- I log, stay 10 minute (time charges fade :D) in agra ck, then quit
2- After 5 minutes I quitted, another alb/hib come agra to see if there is some enemy, he runs other 10 min and quit
3- Many (I hope) other people do like me and other players, so it's harder to find some enemy

With a counter or something which say you there are enemy I can simply wait (even half afk) at keep or in a safe place for someone

On live there is no suck problems because there are ALWAYS enemy in frontiers, so you are sure at 100% that you will meet enemy. Here it isn't, you could also wait for hours and don't find none (and most people go to reroll their 1000° character or switch bg)

just need to find away to get people to stay with one realm and one or two char at 50. RvR is the low point on this server and it better change. PvE gets old fast, and so will the server.

What happened today:
A player enter, ask for enemy, we say no and it quit
Later another player asked for rvr, we said 5 hib and we were fg, so he quitted
After we ran for 10-15 minutes without meeting enemy, the whole group quitted, I stayed at ck and 5 hibs killed me. No mids to fight hibs so I quitted too.

What could be worse using a counter?
