Well, we cannot allow both 1.89 and 1.90 to co-exist because of environmental differences. So, it's either 1.89 max (and thus excluding any new starter-ups) or 1.90 min (and perhaps losing some current players until they got an upgraded computer). And you already know our decision...

well i havent played in a while (mostly due to uni), but this 1.90 update will bring me back, even if its just for the keep updates!

NO MORE LADDERS!! Best decision ever.

My UMPC has a 950 GMA which played TOA fine even with shadows and reflective water.
I've got DirectX9, do I need 10?

Maybe LOTM will work, how do you dl it?

If not thnks for all the fun for free and I may be back with my next PC

Hello i play on US version ( 1.93 ) on laby, why i should update my version anymore ? cause i can't be logged more 160 seconds


i precise that i could playing on the server on monday and before the patch

There are extreme differences in rvr between 1.89 and 1.90. This change was necessary.

Do you really think, I50 will not do the same? Instant Servers are in a bigger need of new players than Uthgard is. If you just stay at version 1.89, you can't have new players, as the lowest downloadable version of DAoC is 1.90!

just updated yesterday to version 1.90 darkness rising.
I was running the DR client from the day it was released and indeed i noticed the performance went a bit down then , but it was still playble.

Now by reading some comments i decided to update to labyrint client and i must say things run indeed smooter for me.
just writning this to inform the players who have trouble running cata or DR clients and are dissapointed they cant use TOA anymore.

BTW .. thx to uthgard staf/dev/GM .... etc for the quick responce you guys gave to the visual bugs (end bar.. sitting down, and who know what else).
And also thank God you guys are mature enough to lay the wining in most cases next to you. (altough you are only human)
Rest asure that alot of us realy appreciate the work you guys do.

i thought that fixing bugs would take much more time... the porting in newfrontier shouldn't be to hard to fix but for the others bugs that seemes more difficult... and you fixed it in even not a day.

really great job.

and i think that my computer has less lags problems with 1.90. and ladders were really a pain. so that's really nice.

yes this failure is often because of direct x not being up to date
