1. CATHAL VALLEY.
I'd prefer this, as it's basically a symmetric version of old frontier emain with a porterkeep for hib too. I mean, why create a
new Battleground out of Agramon, if we already have a real one as a viable alternative ?
Advantage: should work with current population levels, got POIs (Point of Interest) with the milegates and a (sort of) 'central' keep.
Disadvantage: True Battleground, difficult to extend if it ever gets too small.

2. Current Agramon+Adjacent Zones Modified:
Close one Milegate per Realm, by makeing it a porterkeep for an enemy realm. Something like this:

Hadrian's Wall ............... Emain Macha
(GATE) (PORT)..............(GATE) (PORT)
.....................AGRAMON
...................(PORT) (GATE)
.....................Odin's Gate

HADRIAN PORT:
This is where the famous Hibernian Master Strategist and Elven General, Archmage Sumatan, has set up a bridgehead as the staging point for
his upcomming campaign to conquer all of Albion. His troups have secured the wall and keep the maingate blocked, while the General has used
his arcane powers to set up a teleporting beacon in the gatehouse, to get reinforcements in and the wounded out.
The albion royal army however has set up camp only a short way towards the albion mainland, to siege the wall, and has so far prevented
any further advances of the General's troops.

EMAIN PORT:
This is where a tribe of trolls led by the ancient yet hydrophobic troll warrior Alturiak has set up camp. Finding no suitable Bridges to
live under in all of midgard or the frontiers, Alturiak moved his family into the dry gatehouse instead, where the tribe's shaman set up a
teleporting circle, so the Trolls can easily get supplies without leaving their new home.
Seeing how the Trolls restriceted themselves to the immediate vicinity of the wall anyways, the hibernian Queen decided against driving them out.
She send a squadron of her elven rangers instead to just secure the road from the wall towards Hibernia unseen, both to prevent hapless Lurikeen
from wandering too close to the wall and ending up in trollish cooking pots, as well as to protect a detachment from the hibernian royal
acedemy of sciences, who expressed their interest in studying trolls in this unnatural habitat.

ODIN'S PORT:
This is where the hideout of the notoriuos Albion Bandit Yesbil is rumored to be located, even though it was never actually found.
Albion Authorities have thus long dismissed the rumors as simply not true, but the fact remains that the teleporting gate on the wall,
that is again rumored to be used for hauling loot, is being kept functional by somehone, and any hostile moves on the gate have so far been
met with brutal ambushes by invisible enemies.
Additionally, ever since the incident with the mysterious disappearance of the dwarven treasury of Haggerfel, a Batallion of Dwarven engineers
has blocked the area from the wall towards Midgard, setting up some of the meanest and deadliest traps imaginable by their finest engeneers,
so that no creature could ever hope to pass the area alive or undetected anymore.

Advantages: faster to get to where the action is, easy to extend if there ever is need for more room, real frontier without the battleground-feeling
Disadvantages: Still a very large area, no POIs in between the milegates.

Additional Modification:
Add a Keeplord to the center of agramon. Maybe some guards too, and build a labyrinth around it, similar to the one around the northern
Dun na nGed Tower. Not something big to siege, we already have keeps for that, but a place with a high probability to find enemies.
If a lab is too dififcult to build, a lv10 tower without doors will do nicely.

ADDITIONALLY: reconsider RvR-Zone exp-bonus
Now I hate killing players not really looking for a fight (levelers) just like everyone else that wants fights out of RvR instead of
playing realm-point-pacman. But I nevertheless still remember that searching and killing players who level has been a part of the original RvR design.
Some of the most fun times in RvR I had was leveling in Yggdra and Uppland, and defending against groups of evil Alb and Hib invaders,
and later on, the 'Dodens Gruva' dungeon provided endless hours of entertainment fighting off enemy stealthers, all while leveling.
Of course, having levelers out there was the requirement for those enemies to make the long way from their tk to the enemy borderkeeps.
As soon as Yggdra and Uppland started becoming underutilized for leveling, RvR there died off pretty fast too.

Now this all doesn't transfer directly to our our battleground situation, but spending time leveling or looking for levelers was something
that kept players longer in the area, and thus made it more likely that eventually there'd be enough players for good fights.
This advantage is gone now, and it should probably really be given some thought if that is really a good thing. Of minor importance, but
probably still worth mentioning in this context is that having no exp bonus for RvR-Zone leveling is not life-like at all, where the
extended risk of leveling in the frontiers has always been rewarded.

as the last 2 days evenings we more found only single groups (not more then 10 incs ^^) i would say after only 1 week we should see how the actual map works for the next time

the first days were horrible with zergs of enemies, but its getting better

in my feelings OF was a lot of more fun to play, but i am not sure if it´s only the time to feel in the new map

imho would be agramon only a too small map (yes not at mornings)

as one already said, the map is what players behave like on it

In my opinion another rvr zone (of) wont change a lot. I want to repeat that players are those who create the game. Ppl flame about zergs in Agramon. At the same moment they create another zerg because Agramon is "the zergers" zone. It is NOT! It's just Emain Macha with more routs. Same thing with keep defending. Bledmeer Faste in Odin's Gate is the same as Dun Crauchon in Emain and it wont change anything if we create another keep in Old Emain or somewhere else. So pls stop whining and start playing~~

I voted for smaller Agramon but i would also like to check Odins's Gate or Hardian's Wall as our 50s rvr zone.

I think, that if we use now Agramon (small) we could have stayed at Emain Macha and there won't be a change. (o.O The Obama word)

So in my sight of view there are jsut 3 good possibilities:

- Staying at the new zone, maybe upgraded with some towers in the middle
- Back to Emain Macha
- Using of

I really love the idea of having 1 homekeep + another that can be taken. But the disavantage of this is that this is large (at the moment) I don't have personal option to remediate, but idea is really good! I think staff should put keep all into the same zone (agramon) or somewhat. So we can fight and meet many inc without.

Something good would maybe to put keep that can be taken back the 2 barrier of each realm. This way.. the homekeep isn't that far, and you can meet inc at barrier and etc. Just an idea here.

p.s I really dislike the old emain. How is was before. This way is really fun at the moment, and bring player to fight in.

If we went to OF, Could you place towers in there on top of a few keeps?

3 keeps 3 towers, and the 3 porting zones?

or only 3 keeps then the porting towers?

only reason. i would like the idea of some day seeing a relic system on this server :+) and each realm owning 1 keep each to hold one type of relic would be great to see..

If we could get a few towers i would like OF emain, If not i like the 3 towers 1 keep idea for argromon

~.~ what about good old new emain xD.

This survey is manipulative. Dont put the phrase "old emain" into a survey without the "new emain (like before)" vote-option. Because alot people dont read the text at all. U should remake the poll in a neutral way. This point is of a great impact - believe it or not ( I have done alot surveys in my past. ) ^^
And i not only saying it because i like old new emain ^^

I agree with nestral... you forget that many people do not know that there is another version of emain. And maybe also think OF is the old uthgard area and NF the new one. Sad as I had to experience, but not impossible

i keep thinking that we need more keeps/towers to teleport in to make the way to meet enemies shorter.

i think agramon as it s now is oki but with more towers to teleport between the different keeps to get some tactical rvr

i like the new setup :)

i think old emain is too narrow. to room to move. its a big choke point.

great for zergs, if you like zerging. noplace to avoid being ran over.

the vote will show. ;-) for this it´s a good idea to encourage mates to do their state for the future of uthgard and make this vote representativ for whole community.

@Yyrd
generally you have to distinguish between groupmembers/setting/class.

without speeder you have never a chance to escape or avoid groups with speeder. stealthers are other thing. RvR works excellent if you got stealters, who informs you about incoming enemies at their bridge for example.
