Hello Community.

On our long way to become classic-live like, we have decided to cut down the teleporting system. Teleports will soon only be possible to battlegrounds. Escaping battlegrounds will be possible by using a "Portal Stone". This portal stone will teleport you to your realm's main borderkeep (Castle Sauvage, Svasud Faste & Druim Ligen).
In Addition most of the npcs in the battlegrounds will be removed.

We know that these are harsh luxury cuts. However we want to remove two atmosphere-killers with these changes:

1. Teleports scale down the realm and avoid you getting impressions of your homeland. It is absolutely unreal to teleport everytime, as teleports are higher magic, that appears in only a few cases.

2. You live off the fat of the land in the battlegrounds. There is no need to travel to cities in order to get new equipment.

These changes are live like.

We're still working on the switch to Agramon and get closer to the new zone each day. The concept is almost completed and the mobs will be implemented soon. The new area will contain Agramon and the bordering keeps (Caer Benowyc, Bledmeer Faste & Dun Crauchon).

:(

What about making teleporters expensive? So you use them when u really need them, but for a price.

EDIT: or teleport for BPs?

that seemd really not fun... it's already boring to stay afk while riding horses... if now you have to be afk while going to main cities etc...

it's not what i call the fun part of the game...teleporters are a nice thing

Is this how you guys are defining 'Serving the community since 2003!' ? Nothing wrong with some kind of archievement feeling to hit 50 and start RVRing but... aren't there more important things to change than this ? What about the piles of bugs, the weird melee/ranged damage system here, RAs not working as intended on live (MOC, charge), ... all things know but 'on the todo list'.
Sometimes this shard feels like a big anthill, with some people deciding to trample on it just to see how many ants will die. The recent changes sure don't make me feel comfortable in what will come next.

Like if being mezzed/stealthed/stuned/nuked/ressurected etc.. were real things which happend every days in the real life !

Is walking for hours supposed to be fun or supposed to make the game funnier ?
I don't think so and i'm pretty sure most players share this point of view.

No offense but, I really think that patch is pointless, senseless, will make lvling harder than it is already and won't change the rvr situation in the good way ( yeah i'm still talking about TPs )

I'd just like to get the players' opinion who aren't sharing the same point of view of mine to know where are the good points of reducing teleporters amount.

But not in classic. Anyway you have to focus on the borderkeeps when the new rvr system comes.

Before everyone screams in anger. Please think about how many times and
when exactly you needed to teleport and/or use luxury NPCs and possible
alternate methods.

Entering RvR - instant teleport to bg or emain
change => instant teleport to border keep -> final travel to your destination
it has not been told how you move to your final destination, yet!

luxury - recharger, probably siege merchant
change => recharge in capitol or just use the available recharge stones
it has not been told which luxury NPCs exactly will be removed, yet!

Just calm a bit down and wait for Agramon and the new RvR system being
completed. Of course we are cutting down a few things but in exchange you
will be able to experience a new RvR system with features based upon request
of our community.

Please, explain us clearly

- what's the point of removing things that 80% of the players want to keep
(I even think people wouldn't be against more teleports ..)

- and which is the relation with Agramon.

Like 3 times per hour. Does that patch mean I'll have to port to CS/UP/DL and then to take a horse or walk to cam/jord/tnn ? Oo

There is no anger, I guess we are just surprised and disappointed.

you guys have been spoiled too much...

how about we remove binding in frontierzones/bgs and remove the bindstone in borderkeeps, just like it was in the old days?

seriously guys, is this really such a big deal?

I don't know where you did get your 80% from, but please never forget the following sentences:
Humans are lazy by nature. Most of them only open their mouth, when they want to complain about something (it's the same phenomenon in elections). Some do infrequently comment the ongoing issues, because they either are satisfied or don't care. So the forum is in this case somehow an interesting feedback, but in no way representative for the whole server.
