BDs usually stop at Braemar, because they are hard to level after ~lvl 25 (missing pets).

Thats not really true. I leveled the first Bonedancer here to level 50. With even less xp bonusses as there are now. And actually it was one of the chars that were quite easy to level. The real reason why people dont level them is because they THINK they are gimped without pet.

Nvm about celerity and abs, nothing's going to be changed. I'll look a bit more positive. Perhaps I'll hit much harder at high rr :P

......the problem ISN'T your low dmg, but what I said before:
Is it normal to hit for 250 dmg with cele on reinforced armor and 100 dmg with cele on cloth +33 abs?

I admit, these damages are strange. Nothing is going to change.

Faster swing should deals less damage. DPS is calculated from swing to base damage. No matter how you fast your weapon ... DPS should stay the same ...

F.E.

2-HAND 4.0 speed - deals 300 damage - you hit once for every 4 sec.
2-HAND 4.0 speed (50% faster swing - 2.0) - deals 150 damage - you hit twice for every 4 sec.

DPS is the same. That's this should works.

Not really.
You have to differ between the base damage (dps of the weapon), the style bonus damage and damage add.

Base damage is fixed per swing. So slow weapons do more damage. It does not change if you hit faster under haste, cele or with high quickness.

Style bonus (grothrate of the style) and damage add are different. The are fixed damage per time. They get reduced when you hit faster.

Due to the base damage you will do more damage over time with haste over all. But the style bonus each hit gets a bit reduced.

PS: I am not 100% sure about damage add, but iirc it will be scaled down. But i might got it wrong.

Dmg Add is calculated with your (effective)Swingspeed, so it decreases with more haste/quickness. But i wanna know how far haste and especially celerity affects your style dmg. Imo the styledmg decrease is too small. However i never played live and cant tell wether its right or not.

Imo Style damage has to decrease to a value were damage per second gets the same, regardless how often the swingtimer ticks.

back to topic:
average dmg in duels vs caster(no pd)/tank both got 480 displayed af, warrior had 10% less resi because of damage and armor type.

caster took 160 dmg
warrior about 280 dmg

it wasnt important for dmg which armor part was hit. dmg was almost the same.
