actual there IS at least 1 keep in agramon (on the map) but its under water.
you can find it when you swim along the coast from mid NF to hib NF, than you find a keep on the ground of the seawith 2 towers around.

found it when i was bored and had a look around over the NF-world

Sssh..why not use Irish Sea and place all keeps underwater? underwater fights ftw - even though capturing a keep wouldn't be as hard as currently then anymore,..... :>
Be nice. :)

I didn't vote because I think it's better a combination of 2 and 4. Current emain is too little of course, but moving hib tp to dun bolg means keeps near alb and mid tp and hibs sooo far (check here emain map :D http://www.valmerwolf.com/mappe/NewFron ... _emain.jpg )
So I'd prefer to move to another NF region, but putting tps at the same distances from keeps, like this http://www.valmerwolf.com/mappe/NewFron ... ennine.jpg

Pennine mountains, moving one tp in boldiam outpost or sursbrooke outpost, another in boldiam spire and the last in renaris outpost or ellyl castle

@metty :+)

Can always put a Roff on the whole Keep lol

I cant remember what quest it was for but in ToA... there was a underwater quest it had what looked like a keep underwater and only way you could get through was busting down the door :+)

Agramon!

It was the reason for the big server and RvR population of Purga! You get all possibilities and no imbalance because of the porter keeps u can easy choose the bridges as >tk`s< ...

Would be really nice if u implement that u can positionate some towers there too .. so why dont test Agramon? It dont lags more than the other NF Zones..

In any case I'd like to see the current zone changed. I'd prefer old Emain.
Good memories I guess :)

Old frontiers has the problem that there are less possibilities for sieging and the keeps are really basic. Maybe we can combine the advantages of OF emain with the siege and keep features of today?

Would you be able to import an NF keep overtop of a keep in OF? And that way, we could use the OF terrain/emain but have NF keeps? Therefore creating the ideal siege you want, and having the ideal terrain people like.

In theory possible. But you need lot of plain place to set it somewhere. Also the old frontiers graphics looks a bit old now. Imo we could try Agramon. The gates there could have similar effects like the milegates.

Honestly, i think most players have no problem with some "antique" graphics if the zone is nice and the game runs smooth. Using OF Terrain would be great, cause IMO it's much better thought out and way less hardware intensive than the nf one. Only question is whether it is possible (technically and legally) to provide such a zone.

Ich mein wenns um Milegates geht können wir auch http://daoc.gamigo.de/thread.php?threadid=71750 nehmen. Das kommt dann aufs gleiche in aktuellerer Grafik.

"The gates there could have similar effects like the milegates."

Milegates would probably send me back to live. Losing those was the only good thing about NF.
