believe me same problems in hib this is not realm focus guys.. its people

and agreed.. i try to avoid some players, but most of the time thats stealthers because i have bad experiences with them according to assist trains and such

however i try to fill my grp with people.. even if the hero aint spear spec or the ment is mana spec or whatever.. ofcourse sometimes you have to draw a line for grp to work out..

like if grp is:
6 dps classes + bard.. then last spot should probarbly be saved for a druid for some healing and buffs..

but saying albs have a hard time because of guild grps and such is bullshit same does hib and probarbly mid to..

btw french blade is really putting up a good fight to our pug grps in thid atm..

(been running the same people in thid for a while now, or atleast same pool of people(41-47 takes a long time)) so today we actually had some GREAT action with albs... 5+ mins fights if i recall right

so plz i know its not emain but its pretty damn close.. just wait for the next generation of players to get to emain..

myself.. i will stay at 46.99999 untill RR3+ with a mana eld from mystical knights

Maybe the Staff could create a zone for lvl 50 with RR>4.0

This would avoid having high ranked players always trying to kill solo lvlers and optimized groups. The high ranks and the optimized groups would be found in the new RvR zone.

I play...and love the NS. Probably one of the more enjoyable classes I've played in my time with DAoC. I've talked a lot on the forums about knowing your role, serving a purpose. True....most stealth don't assist train, not that they cant but generally a NS can get a quick kill on a caster, or drop a healer ( at least interrupt ) to make life easier on the group. For a NS that will solo most of its life....this type of kill is your bread and butter. Hoping into RVR that default approach usually is the first taken. A shade with disease on blades can be your best friend to take the sting out of those healers. Don't discredit the stealth, just make sure you let them know you want them on assist instead of assassination and they will be more then happy to gang up on that tank with the rest of ya.


I'm with ya on the vote for a BG at high levels for those not up to the Emain style yet. Its been a while and I don't remember what BG it was but there are some with towers to take as well as the keep. Might be a good stomping ground for the 47-50 ( under rr4 or 5 crowd )


I've led RVR on live, relic raids, and many successful campaigns...when it comes to Emain, I don't care what class, what spec, how gimp, or how strong. If you want to run by my side in battle your more then welcome. A Hib is a Hib.

You might not be suprised to hear that i am against a BG for lvl 50 <rr4.If you want to get to something near rr4 you can stay in Thidranki until you get a decent realmrank,and tbh rr3 - rr3.5 is quite enough to be quite effiecient in Emain (i know these are mid Specs, but here some examples why this is enough:As Healer you then have PR/Purge 1 DI 2 or PR/Purge/Moc/Di 1,as Tank you have DET 4,as shaman Ichor or VR 2 Purge 1 Ichor or VR 1).And please do not tell me that you don´t want to play with these bad bad bad high RRs out there...i started RvR in Emme around 8 Months ago (if i remember correctly),back then i was like 2l1 and the hibs and albs alrdy were rr5+.Still i managed to get to 6l3...and now i have good and hard fights against those that used to farm me back then.Its all about training and gathering some guys around you that also have a strong interest in RvR and are willing to pay the price for learning and getting a decent RR.Yes it was hard to get killed over and over again,yes sometimes it was frustrating,but it DOES work if you don´t give up after 2 wipes instantly.

i never saw them in action. maybe it could be a base to take back some group in emain soon.

i know 5 hibs atm that have really high potential imo and prolly more (those 5 imo stand out)

in thid if i get this grp together we can do almost anything

so its not just alb also hibs mids, unless you got something prepared, get rdy for some good action soon next generation will step up soon

I mean, hey, Midgard and Hibernia are getting good (perfect) group setups to emme. Why doesnt alb?

Why complain if you loose with a random grp against a grp setup which is well played and is playing together for years. No blame.


i know i get flamed now because i never played in alb, but i played alb on lots of shards and it seems that only albs on uth are complaining about so called disadvantages. So? where is the fault?
