Some times i find my self in crazy areas.... then i see a guildie finaly making the requirements for a New guild Rank...
well where im at i cant promote untill i see him ![]() I was wonderin if the gamemaster could make it so you can promote no matter where your at? and not just in line of sight? or is there a working command that i can? :+) I know you can invite new players to guild even if there in braemar and your In DF is there a way to make it so that promotes can do that same thing? I Thank you for your time in reading this :+) Sal |

Hmm...
/gc promote <rank> <name> works for me all the times. I do not need to see the guild member. BTW: Would be nice if the promote/demote thing would work also on offline players. Thats a really annoying thing ^^. Kronos |

Ive noticed the same issue that Salidor mentioned. When I attempted to promote a guild member this evening it wouldn't allow me to promote then unless I actually had the member targeted, just being in the same zone wasn't enough.
I can try to verify the command used but if i recall it was /gc promote <rank> <character> As long as it works here there is the /gc autoremove <character> This should remove offline players from the guild. <img src="http://www.metty.the-bart.org/other/daoc/sig.php?name=Complications&s=-1">

Strange, i know for sure (100%) that i do not even need to be in the same zone.

i had the same problem when I was using /gc promote <name> <rank>
then I switched it to /gc promote <rank> <named> at the advice of a guildie and it works no problems now ![]() <img src="http://herald.uthgard.net/daoc/sig.php?name=Koami&s=4" alt="Image">
