Kind of same issue here. It's hard for me to understand what is causing it, especially beacause I managed to solve this problem temporarely...
ONLY If I reinstall completely the game and the launcher, i'm then able to play daoc normally for about one or two week, until the moment that (always on loading screen and always at the same point of the loading process) the game window begin to drop to desktop on every try, without any possibility to get a stable game charcter selection page.

For about one second I can switch with alt+tab to the game page and i'm able to see my wonderfull stupid drunken dwarf on a black background, seemingly without any texture (or light) for the 'standard' background charachter stonewall. Then the game drop to dextop again. The only solution atm is clearly force quit daoc.

I'm off with that.. I've reinstall completely daoc and uthgard launcher five or six time, without finding any solution.
I tried to log with the pc of a friend and it works perfectly. I also manage to check every driver and update my pc, move/delete every file from uthgard from my appdata/roaming folder in the process..

Someone please can help me? Kinda desperate :D
Tell me if you need further inforamtion and sorry for my bad english, hope was clear.

many thanks!

Often time this is the result of a UI failing to load. I would suggest resetting your game options by renaming hte folder (%appdata%\Electronic Arts\Dark Age of Camelot\Uth2), or another way would be to simply rename the gamefolder\ui\custom folder to something else temporarily.

Your UI must be compatible with Uthgard.

Hi, i'm sorry, I tried both solution.. doesn't work atm.
Renamed Uth2 with a custom name. Tried to log, it failed.
Renamed UI, then i tried again. Patch run, it failed again..

(i did not download or manually introduce any add-on or custom ui, if you was referring to that. I normally arrange mine with 'in game options')

If you know others possiblities I still need help.
Thanks
