As I get it, there is a group of people that have invested hours of hours into a freeshard to enable others to play a 15 years old game for others, who had complained in the past 10 years are complaining now and will as long as they will keep up all of this...and then there is you..selfish, demanding and depending people with no word o gratitude, who would treaten staff at any time of the day to get their small-minded 'needs'...damn, I can't smash my head as hard as I need to et into your thinking :P

@staff: Just logged back in and was wondering about, how the AT-remove would work exactly. Is there another threat on it I have missed? Either Merc and Pally had their skills as they were before I took my summer-break. Btw...winter is coming :) Keep up the work. There was a short period, when I thought this would be it. Then I had to realize, you still had a plan, I just wouldnt know about :)

I absolutley agree to what Splitquick wrote and I admire the GM's patience with those, who definately passed a limit of what good behaviour means to get to their point, to say the least.

Someone has presented us a gift...let`s just be greatful every now and then..that might help to be heard in times of trouble. That is simply psychology as well ;)

I don't even think that the staff expects the players to express gratitude. I do think that staff would be pleased if the ingratitude were tempered a bit.

Pretty much :D. I don't know how it is on other realms, but as far as Midgard goes, the whiners are always the worst and most stubborn players who want absolutely everything just handed out to them and they actually think they can compete then. They've had several fresh starts and they still suck, so they're always looking for more :D.
It is what it is.

Thank you for another good update.

Small changes a little at the time, good pace for monitoring effects of changes.

Keep up the good work :)

I did alchemy back in Uthgard 1.0. However, I invested in different crafting in a certain profession because we were told there would never, ever, ever be multiple use potions ever again on Uthgard.

Now we get multiple use potions.

Wish this had been done in the beginning so I hadn't wasted my time leveling another profession based upon assurances time and time again that multiple use potions would never see the light of day on Uthgard ever again. I'm glad for the change, but when you are told by a developer over and over that those potions will never be on Uthgard....and now...

Was people more or less happy/sad about changes on live, for a game they actually paid for?

I do not remember, but this dev bashing is absurd.

What would you think about a homeless person complaining about the food he/she gets for free in the soup kitchen? I bet you would think that is being ungrateful.

I like that you guys are waking up and try to bring some of the players back, but there is still so much garbage that makes the game unnecessarily harder and more complicated than it should be and im not talking about xp being too low or anything.
So i thought i make a run with my newly empowered reaver in emain, got rolled by a fgm (shoutout to holsten), no biggie.
Then i tried to get some people together via the /lfg command but i got a warning because i included a comma ?! The message: /lfg lfm rvr, fgm out couldn't be sent because of a ****** comma. Like you are guys for real? Ridiculous limitations like this are why people leave and they are found everywhere in your game. Im all for it that you want to keep it competitive but making the player struggle outside of crafting and fighting is just ...

The problem was/is not the comma, it is the spreading of RvR information in an group building channel.
Please try "lfm RvR" or "<class> lfg RvR" and it should work without any problems.
