I know Snarls and Twitchclaw are standing in same place, maybe other mobs are static too?

Mythic and broadsword have changed a lot of the classic zones over time, think of various events and such. So documenting some of the paths is sometimes problematic. but some do still exist, but if people can post or put on tracker a possible missing path, this would help out a lot. So we can check live if still exists or find start end points in forum posts, screenshot or vids.
May not seem important to some, but each little thing give back some of that classic ambience of daoc. Know of a Missing Mob,drop or Mob Camp? Then Post it Here!

I've noticed also a bug which makes some mobs to lose their predefined path for some reason.
It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.
Every bug gets fixed. Sooner or later. "It is an inescapable law of nature that the amount of satisfaction one gains from achieving something is related to how hard it is and easy things can only elicit a fleeting superficial sort of pleasure." Blue says, "you used macro tools or macro keyboard" Pala says, "i am disabled. and i have a mechanic left hand that can be programed. its hard to play woith one hand" [Appeal] Bxxxxxxxx: "why is RA first aid cann man i stealth use and not unstealth cann man ra if man use unstealth ?????????" BannedUser: "i was not using automate game action my hand was fall on keyboard during i was sleep .... i was completly fall on keyboard ..." |

I reported that mobs because they were roaming until some days ago, I thought that they got stuck it that positions for some reason and they needed a reset to restart their usual roaming

This is not some one off thing...it's been going on for awhile. I noticed it after the patch which brought the xp bonus. I will elaborate on other mobs which display this behavior and the effects on players below. I do not understand how such a 'bug' could arise, mobs were pathing properly...no changes were made to these mobs...and suddenly the do not path anymore. This is not a case where 'research' needs to be done to chart proper paths...these mobs a few weeks ago worked properly, now they do not. It is FRUSTRATING for us to bring up things and be told that we need to do research. It is not an issue of being unwilling to help you out via work on our end, the point is there is NO NEED FOR RESEARCH. These mobs worked fine, suddenly they do not. Why, what is going on or being done behind the scenes? Sometimes, it seems as if multiple people who may not understand what they are doing are dabbling here and there with things .
Agnor Crusher in Huginfell....Anyone who has played the game knows where he is supposed to be. Down north of town by the lake shore. Thats part of the atmosphere of the game..His quest is called Paranoid Guard...and he's eyeing Squirt the little creature across the lake who's spying on the town. After you do the quest he walks up to Bork in town to conversate and then goes back to his spot; instead of returning to his spot...he is frozen at Borks location now. Fridgeir Gestsson...He is supposed to roam around the Blodfelag Fortress/Keep and the surrounding areas with his minions. The quest to kill him says 'go to the Blodfelag Fortress'. However he no longer roams, he may be found static in a building at the camp in far NW of zone at ~7k,8k. People trying to do this quest, even those that do the legwork to look up information on it will still find it difficult to find him as he does not behave properly and so the quest directions do not aid you. Allow me to bring up another curious mob. In Nisse's Lair, on the bottom level, in the large room where Skirr and the warlords/sentinels spawn there is a mob which seems to have been 'turned OFF'. It is a tomte warlord at the foot of the stairs closest to the entrance and just a few feet off to the side. It does not behave like a tomte warlord or any other mob in the game. It will not aggro you, hit you, or move from its location. You may kill it at will at no risk, save that of drawing aggro from nearby mobs, and it will respawn with the same behavior. If there was a bug with tomte warlords...all would exhibit the same behavior. It is almost as if someone has deliberately inserted special code regarding this mob for some unknown purpose. It's not a big deal of course at all just like the roaming issues are not necessarily super important. It is just strange as to what is going on. |

I will check these npcs later tonight.
In general there are multiple things involved to make an npc move. Sometimes core systems are reviewed and tested but some odd settings on npcs make them behave diffrently than others. Sometimes there is a hickup with our pathing system that could result in such behavior. Sometimes it is simply an unknwon bug. News || Getting Started || Rules || Issue Tracker
