So I signed up a month or so ago and invested some time into leveling and crafting. I would like very much not to lose my characters. When I signed up I used my email and seem to have forgotten the password I used. At account creation, when the email was sent to me I clicked on it or whatever to validate the account and have never had to log in since then. To play the game I merely click on the Uthgard Launcher and the website opens and shows my email and character name at which point I press the play button.

I assume that somehow my credentials are stored so that I am identified when I click on the launcher app. Pardon my ignorance but I assume this is via a cookie. I got a db editor to view the Firefox cookie file to try and see if I could find the password there but the only data I could find was a wall of text characters.

I'm concerned that should I delete cookies/browser history I will be unable to logon and of course no support is provided in this case for lost passwords. Is there anything I can do to fix this situation? Suggestions are appreciated.

We use openID for logon to our game server. Such as Facebook, Google and others. You'll need to take up a lost password with your openID provider you used.

uthgard.net -> sign in -> sign in with email -> problems signing in? -> insert email -> follow process provided to you via email

If you have forgotten your password to your email, you need to speak to your email provider and not us.
