Well when you spend most of your gold on being fully buffed for 4 hours a day for a week being in frontier and dont get any inc youve wasted gold and kinda have to farm. Yes pve is boring but its better than wasting hours in frontier finding no fun fights

Finally forum is back. Seeing new faces/returning players out which is always nice. I'm hoping some of these NS that only solo in DF will come to AMG/big boy RvR. Come out by R5, don't be like Spymistress and Darkhand...

I understand NSs need a few toys to be competitive but Infini is out there showing it just takes some skill pre R5 that you can't build taking keeps or only hunting DF (who would have thought).

A new to me Elf is out there trying to take Ciraths spot as hardest NS.

@Arven Sorry about the vanish, wasn't buffed and semi afk at AMG. Normally I'd take the death and come back but I didn't want to wait. Didn't know you wouldn't Inc me after while I was playing with the gates (if you were still there).

@Deathmachine I remember seeing your spam but not wanting to fight you because I only had haste up (damn 3min charge timers) I prob saw you and saw the opportunity to open a BS or Perf and went for it. Hope to see you again and out in emain after R5. (Not counting zerg)

Looking for more SB while you have str relic atleast. An extra 75 str and con + 3 str relics should make all the SBs come out and dominiate other assassins. I don't want to see just Niute and Arven out there kicking my ass.

I feel you need to be slightly careful with accusations of 'avoiding big boy rvr' I've always hung around AMG and never had a problem competing but at times I'm beyond waiting for an hour for no RPS or 1 fight if lucky or 3-4 alb stealthers who don't want to solo so I can understand why some of my colleagues chose to not follow the at times frustrating traditional route.

More recently I've found myself chasing the action, whether that be picking off zergs/keep raiders or baiting in Uppland. Sometimes it's just more fun this way.

This is the reason i stayed mostly to DF and other paces for now. takes ages to get there and to be rolled by mincer miner infil scout just seems pointless

If you mean AMG is big boi rvr then you won't see me much there. I've tried several times and it goes like this:

1. Absolutely nothing there. Walk to APK, consider running MMG/MPK.
2. Minstrel/, attack it, infil/scout/more minstrel wtfpwn me (like pros).
3. Find a good 1v1 - usually alb. Group runs past - murder me, save their realm "friend".

Never had any experience at AMG outside of these 3 scenarios ^^. Add in the fact of running to AMG in the first place and I find I prefer the DF experience.

I have more action in DF defending hibs or attacking the DF holding realm - this is totally true. But I get ejected by Sonora/Vedova bumhugging eachother often or ofcourse Zepi doing his tedious Ichor and kill or run to log tactics. Also lets be honest, if you say you've never been to DF and enjoy it as your assassin guilty pleasure you are lying (mostly to yourself). I know I've seen Gumby spam in DF - certainly no more than I seem to get.

I prefer Uppland - especially when Alb own DF. Good battles then and I seemed to be rolled by groups less. I don't even mind the run too. Still see multi minstrel groups and also Duerger/Trickyd waiting in the wings but you can't have everything.
