I've started realm change from hib to alb, and wondered how people go about trading plats between realms?

You give your plats to a friend, who will give them for you.
The other guy does the same.
You take screenshots of the transaction (when each person has accepted).
If you get scammed you contact a GM.
I don't know what GM will do, my guess is:
GM will ban scammers, and give you back your money.
or
GM will perma ban scammers and not give you back your money.
or
GM will do nothing and you will just give up playing on the server.

There is usually a rate for trades:
Around 1.3 to 1 for alb vs hib
Around 1.5 to 1 for alb vs mid
Around 1.15 to 1 for hib vs mid

Don't do trades of less than 5pp.

Mid is has the worst farming classes of the 3 realms, but they have had DF for the longest, and they have the best classes for grouping.

Hibs have easy money from enchanter that can also be played in RvR.

Alb have a lot of players with a lot of money because of Necro class, but they spend most of their money cause everything is expensive there.

If you send 20pp from alb to mid, you will get only 13.33 pp but 13.33 pp on mid will get you much more than 20pp on alb.
Reminder to Self: Quality over Quantity, what is the Value here?

Nope.

Don't trade plats like this. Use the in-game secure transfer feature, both people must confirm.

There is no way to trade plats between realms without violating the rules or taking a big, big risk by arranging cross realm communication. In short, we don't support it. Creating a second account to do this will likely result in the accounts being banned and all the plat being lost.

I would also like to know what this "in-game secure transfer" feature is. Never heard of it before nor seen any option for it anywhere,

I think what he wants to say was : You are not supposed to cross realm trade and the only legal thing is the trade window in game. If u get rob, it's on you and Gm will do nothing about it.
