Hey all. Some friends and I, which played DAoC on and off since release, just started playing on Uthgard. Looking to find an active alliance, and wanted to know what was out there? We have about 8 members currently and plan to do mostly small man and 8v8 RvR.

Syndicate is one of the most active alliances.

Who runs it? Anyone we would need to talk to about joining?

I could be wrong, but I think that while the syndicate alliance is indeed a very active one it is also full atm with possibly even a waiting list?

Is there a herald that shows alliance affiliation?

I know about the Inc guild herald, and I have seen others, but none of them really show what a herald should, alliances, and links to guild webpages and things, oh, and what the emblem looks like. I don't always want to bother players for this information, it would be nice if I could research these things on my own.

That is the *only* thing about old Live that i miss as opposed to Uthgard. A proper, functional herald.

There is no Alliance info available to heralds. Ascension has the alliance lead, I believe?
