I think that is the point, for us zerging is not fun, for us 8v8 is fun.

I guess people see what they see.
we got zerged in hib, switched to alb got zerged, switched to og and got zerged. Back to emain where we got zerged several times. So we decided to not run 8v8 for this evening anymore, and it was fun.

My group got zerged down 6 times, with only one 8v8.
I logged early last night.

Might have to reroll a minstrel and camp svasud xp spots and get some true credibility..

Logged out early yesterday as i saw mids trying to run 8v8 in emain against the alb zerg... run, die, rinse and repeat.

It`s like hitting your own balls with a hammer and wondering why it hurts that much....

It seems to me, what is the subject... is that example:
Mid zerg raids albion
Albion mounts defence and wipes mids
Mids now go HIb, instead of returning to albion to either defend keeps that has been taken or try to fight the alb zerg.

And without knowing the minds of the people who run the zerg, it does seem to me some BG leaders deliberately avoids actual RvR fights, and only wants to PvE keeps.

Anyway, many 8 men would happily join a zerg vs zerg, if only there was one .
Well i mean, and this is dedicated to mids, once you got action out (e.g. Romu building a counter zerg and wiping you in Renaris) don't run like chickens in another realm but fight him, go back albion, defend a keep or 2, fight in open field, build a trap for him, try to be smart and win but fight ftgs.
Too many times we saw mids changing zone and start it all over again without even try to fight albs or hibs. Sometimes numbers were in favour of mids too and still they changed zone, sometime the excuse was "we changing zone to draw action out of our frontier".
Remember the first Blue Sunday? The one were albs tried to sneak our relic and we all went to Snowdonia to open their relic keep before they took the relic back? We stood inside the RK for almost 2 hours, pushing albs attack back, then the hibs showed up and killed the relic carrier and all was over. Those are the kind of zerg i like, it's called RvR.

Yes you are right, much better to make them on grey con players

On a related keep defence or take note... does static tempest work here, and is it any good?

Let everyone his playstyle and it´s good. DAoC is DAoC because we have zerglings, 8vs8, rpg dudes and so on. If this server lifes, we all participate. And for that, we need everyone.
