21 hops, yikes . Any ideas how to minimize this?

I attached a file as it wouldn't let me copy/paste as new user, too many URL's.

On a side note, it is making it near unplayable. I think 80% or > of my deaths are due to LD's. I am very sad lol. Any help on what I can do would be awesome!

A simple traceroute doesn't help much. Can you run WinMTR for 1000 traces please and show that.

You can reduce the number of hops and often bypass a black hole node with a VPN such as WTFast.

Here you go, what are your thoughts? I also downloaded WTFast, what file should I put as launcher? the Uthgard executable or main DAOC launcher? can't seem to get it to work lol.

You have very little packet loss and your average ping times look good but your worst times are terrible! So you have a lot of jitter. Are you using wireless? If so, can you add a cable?

Glad it helped. How many hops do you have now?

Your worst time in the WinMTR you posted indicates that your home network is suffering as well. If you're using wifi at home, look for sources of interference. At your home you should not see more than a couple of millisecond delay total depending on conditions.

Thank you for the feedback. Yeah, I live in a very busy apartment complex, No way to have wired connection but we do have a very strong router. Luckily Wtfast did the trick. Thanks for the help everyone .
