i agree with blue, but i'm also talking abouth players having stealthers in all realms and use to change realm to kill lower players in df..

i just can't understan them, you play in a realm, you got friends there, but as soon as you think you can steal some rp's you log other realm and go kill rout mates... sad that is..

but maybe this time it just shear luck, but i'm on server long enough to write a book abouth high lever albs joining the winning side on events, leaching rp's as soon as they see noob albs forming emain grp.. the list is way longer then this...

even a 2 hour timer would prevent all of this,

i'm sure on live there are some of those too, but there they have to pay for every account, over here you can do what you want and it's all free..

and i don't think this timer has to work with ip, i'm sure gm's can easely find the accounts beeing used by the same person, and restrict those...

just another example, albs form a grp, roam emain, find a mid grp and kill them, two of the albs (i won't tell names or guild) tell us they have to go, ten minutes later our grp gets killed by the same mid grp, but they have two cahers more... guess who...
ooh well, i can go on for a while like this

Heho,
So again.
We was in Emain, there were only 4 Albs. Albs had DF, /who 55(255) ,
In this group where player who play here since 1 Year or more and they know that its typical for Albion when you not find Albs in Emain then you can find them in DF. And can you explane me why 10 Mid Player run in a zerg Alb in a row with long distance between them ? Maybe they don´t that there is a Alb Zerg.

By the way the discussion with that some alb think that the first group were Hibs and they loggt Mid Group for attack you at Legion.

Maybe they speculated you go to DF after claiming it. Maybe, maybe not.

i was there too i.g. and in ts and i can assure that there was no
x-realming involved.
i saw in gc that our keep dun crauchon was attacked by 20+ enemies and then taken over by albion. and i posted in in the ally chat.
when the ppl mobilized there were no more then 3 or 4 albs in emain left.
so whats the next thought you will have?
albs are eather logging lvl grps in df or doing a legion or beliathan raid.
so we decided to close df and go there and farm lvl grps wich we did'nt find exept a few greys.
then this alb wave came down the stairs and flushed us away ( omg wish i would have taken a screen it looked really cool^^ )

so if there are that many ppl in df it must be for a raid eather legion or beli. mids might look dumm but .....
then i wrote in the ally "everyone who can run come df
! everyone who can't i'll carry !!! "
everyone exept 8 came :)
so we ran down twoards legion and the way was pretty much clear of mobs so it was obvious that you were going for legion.

this is how it happened and i think it was just a bad rvr/raid tactic of you albis^^

ok esme
i believe you, but plz see it my way too,
this time i got it wrong, but all the other examples i gave makes it normal we get itchy if things like this happen, and tbh, i know players abusing the xrealming, and i think you can point to some too, you'v been around as long as i am...

i just think preventing abuse of xrealming would be a good thing..

btw, we still have mommy in guild

From my personal experience. Situations like monty described can happen very easy. As Blue said just a single person is needed ...
You dont need to log from alb to mid or whatever. IRC and TS make it possible. Making a realmtimer wont change that.

Just hope people that people are honest.
Try to imagine how it feels beeing the enemy.

______________________________________________________________

My version of the situtation.

I was in emain when people started to build the raid in df. I was checking xp-spots seeking xp-ing enemies when suddenly a mid-zerg crushed me.
Then all of a sudden a zerg is gone. Isnt it strange that they have gone dispite :

- 2 fg albs levelt in emain ????
- 5 hibs levelt in emain ( i made sure they got treated proper ^^ )

Why do mids leave emain before even checking all spots proper ?
Sure it is possible that the mids have missend em.

Since i trust Esme i think this was an accident for alot of people.
But i am certain some of the mids knew it ....

Nes

PS
The natural behaviour after having all keeps is not df-raid, but sure log twinks and XP

i think a timer would be a good idea.
sure nessi there is ts and irc but it would still minimize spying a lot since i don't think lot's of ppl wich are involved in a raid like this would be so stupid telling it to other realms.
maybe changing the /who command into were you can at least not see the location of players anymore would help to solve the problem.

No isn't right...On live you have 2 mins for change realm. Not 2 hours and not another account.

But this isn't live, rule is different here, and btw still dunno why ppl fear about that rule, except if they do something bad.

The problem about the timer...

You locate client's IP -> Get his realm loged -> Close IP for all other realms..

Problem:
You can get a new IP ( simply reconnect to provider).

You dont know all accounts of certain player!
And even if you do one simply can generate a new one ...
Those who want to spy will spy!

If you can implement it somehow. A timer of 2h+ will focus players to attach themselfs to a certain realm. And people will start getting more clean and honest.

This is not live. Switching realms has a big impact on this server cause you dont find enemies all the time and everywhere - like on live.

@esme:
/who command is very essential for finding xp-groups^^.
Maybe it would have been better for the Raidgroup simply to /anon.
And also not to use /broad for organizing the raid.

But the point is:
If such a group moves through df, twinks from other realms leveling in df might see em and ....

i see loction of Dialknotspoint and that is allways the same .

like this

IP address location & IP address info:
My IP address [?]: ***.***.***.*** (Copy)
IP address country: Germany
IP address state: Bayern
IP address city: *******
IP address latitude: 10.2300
IP address longitude: 14.3323
Your ISP [?]: Deutsche Telekom AG
Organization: TSI fuer *************
