ForumStraw's in Town Broken?

I picked up this quest at level 10. I have encounter Straw 7 times east of Tir na mBeo as a grey/green con mob. I havfe killed him each time but the quest doesn't update. I have tried waiting all night at the tree near Ardagh but he never spawned there. Just wonder if I'm missing something.

Yep, I tried 6 months ago it did not work either.
Did not know they still had not fixed it. Many issues on the Issue trackers, some are resolved some are assigned some are confirmed.
