Hello,

when im playig for some time ( some hours 4-5+ ) i get 1 major freeze from time to time. 5-10 Seconds and its super annoying ! I can hear how my pc is doing something then.

Its not my antivirus or some ****** like that.

I recently did a fresh new windows installation.

How can i check what that is ??

Any hints or so?

My system: quad core 4x 2,5 ghz
graphic: geforce 750 ti (newsest driver )
16 gb ram (ram is ok i checked)

Sometimes after a long play session, a reboot usually clears things up. Is hit and miss on how and why this happens. used to have an old /flushvram command but mythic removed it a long time ago. but long play session with a lot of games you sometimes need to reboot. sometimes my camelot.exe will not unload properly and need to reboot.

What do you 'hear'? If it's disk activity and you can physically hear it than it may suggest a failing disk.

Hi, I can tell u what it is.. Your harddrive disk which has to load some game-ressources but went offline through your windows energy options. Please check your advanced energy options in windows. I think your hard drive disk on which DAoC is installed turn off after 20 minutes of idle-time. (Could happen if u are in 1 dungeon or zone for more then 20 minutes - then the game hasn't to load anything from that hard drive and it turns off)

Set the time to turn off HDD to 0 / zero - then it should not happen again.

BOrkas was right. I will test it if the server will come back today. The HD was +asleep+ after 20min there.
