Albion has a cancer

Dude... you are level 45 vs a lvl 50 with R5. I run out solo on my Cleric when I'm bored and wipe the floor with stealthers. All you need is a template and some RA's and you can usually solo them down just fine using your cooldowns. As for Albs cancer - it's been here from the start. Necromancers are an invasive species. Alb will be eternally hobbled by the myriad of issues it faces - from Necromancers, to lack of Endurance classes, to lack of class/spec variety that is needed only in certain situations (keeps takes/defense), to tell fact that outside of Splitquick and Thalandrior nobody runs much of anything, to the numerous people inside the realm who have antagonistic relationships... usually stemming from PvE quarrels and blossoming into something more. I'm not sure what solution there is for Alb at this point. I doubt the staff are going to to of their way to directly address the situation - they already tried to nerf pygmies. People will get ****** off if you dramatically alter Necromancers. If you make things harder to get, it only makes the issue worse as the price goes up on top of inflation. I've got no fixes of suggestions for the current mess. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk Satanic Panic - Cleric

That's pretty much it: Necros make solo gameplay superior to group gameplay factoring the trouble of going lfg. The majority plays on their own, without much interaction, with a class so proficient that it outdamages the environement capabilities => quarrels On other realms, friendship and synergies between people usually stem from pve time spent together on the way to 50. People get into groups because it's necessary. Friendlists are filling with levels passing, and this has consequences on the long term: easier group filling, better collective gameplay with known people, intel spreading quickly etc... I won't pretend I have a solution, but the answer probably lies in finding a way to make albs play more together, an incentive that is better than solo farming. Or using the nerf bat to make Albion play as a realm again. |

I guess all i need is a template. I been begging for 4 days for someone to make me chain or a warhammer.
And i was going to pay, of course. I wanted some diamonds and sapphires to complete my temp and i was quoted some just ridiculous prices. One necro, who shall not be named, said he had 106 sapphires and i asked how much for 10 he quoted me 100 gold, or 10 each. So i said screw it, and literaly changed my temp. Dropped all the rejuv out and will just use spec heals and group heal. And im going to rock a 10 gold cloak i bought as part of the temp and some level 33 rings from catacombs, its ghetto tastic. I can do this but i have friends who have 50 necros and so forth and I' m relvinian, an idiot but hardly a new player. What about the poor casual. I have a 31 necro on my friends list. He logs in from time to time. He is a casual. Just grinding away. No 50 necro friends, not in an alliance. Etc. What about that guy? Wait, he logged in 8 hours ago and is now level 32. https://www.uthgard.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=37632

You do need a template. Begging might work, but is likely to create more resentment towards you than anything else. Many guilds are willing to help if you join onto their team and put in effort to help out the squad. Using a ghetto template like that isn't even terribly necessary. DF seals aren't hard to come by - just build towards it - actually go into the dungeon and farm them a bit. You aren't even level 50 yet. The Cleric templates are fairly dead cheap to buy too as it's mostly 99% items, DF items, Epic Cloak, and Veiled Bracer of Eyes quest. As for your 32 Necro buddy - that is his problem. I run Primordial Alliance, Splitquick runs WPFK - if he plays during NA time we've got multiple guilds recruiting in both WPFK and Primordial Alliances of all different flavors/goals/objectives - if he's Euro there is Knights Who Say Ni who are mostly Euro players. With how many people go inactive, people are looking for active players to join their guilds. If you are without - you just need to go out and ask people. Most are inviting. It's not like all doors are closed. Anybody over level 10-15 who doesn't have a guild or is still in a starter guild is likely there by choice. |

no customnerfs plz. thanks.
imo the issue is necro without si. necros are kinda taking over every single profitable spot there is (and there isnt that many compared to the amount of necros) and strangle regular gameplay. also instead of nerfing necros devs should rather focus on offering sth profitable that necros cant solo. like a raid of some sort....with an apocalyptic endboss hint hint gint. long story short: dont waste resources on trying to nerf income, just try to get si done asap. |

It's not because you met 90% of necro di*****ead that all of them are. When i play necro to farm money, am usually glad to give ABS / Power omw to the spot (usually ends up with thanks, nice chat, sometimes free PL if i can), and if someone ask nicely, groupe him/them instead of taking their spot. I mean, it's not class related ... it's behavior related. Go on hib, find a di*****ead animist, or a kind one. Go on mid, find a di******ead BD, or a kind one. It's the same for alb. The only thing is ... community is often toxic (happen to me aswell on forum mainly, but rarely ingame). Necros can act as such, more than others i guess. However, am sure every realm have their toxic %. |

if xp was increased per added group member you would see necros/anis/whateveronmid spamming all day long trying to fill their group with randoms.
Koochi made the beta quit.

It is more than dick necros or nice necros.
You go to a spot and find 3 necros at the damn spot. It isn't nice or dick it is killing speed. They kill 2x or 3x as fast and they don't stop. It's like having termites. https://www.uthgard.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=37632

Is the alb dragon harder than other realms dragons ? Why is there no dragon raid on albion, I'm really thinking about organizing one as we have no relic anyway but I have no experience whatsoever about uth2 alb dragon and just started back a few weeks ago, i just participated in one dragon raid once and we pulled 2/3 times then had to go to relic defense, so not much but what I've seen from the WPFK strats and the few pulls I made is that he seems a lot more complicated now than on uth1.

Difficulty settings are the same for all 3 realms. Each dragon has a unique ability. |

Use stuff you can afford. Market Explorer is AMAZING - Do your epics, the ring and cloak are very high in UV for a template. If you aren't high enough yet to solo a step, wait a few levels until you are and just wear some cheapy cloak or ring as a place holder or find someone to help. Cheapskate cleric template, and somehow it has +11 rejuv and +7 enhance with just 1 diamond piece and 1 sapphire piece, AND you have a glowy hammer to boot.. 4 piece of 99% Chain: 2-3p 2 piece of 100% studded = 400-500g DM Hammer - 100-300g 99% Shield - 50g 2 piece of your Epic jewlery - free - just your time and u get xp for doing it. 1 piece of diamond jewlery - 17 diamonds 1 piece of sapphire - 25 sapphire pygmy gem - basically free 2x Stonewatch bracers - like 100g each on vendor (just sold like 10 to vendor from my DM run) Eldspar Ring from DM - 50g Spellcrafting + Procs.

I sincerely hope this feature is considered. While Genesis/Origins had many failings, the XP bonus for adding group members was something they got right. More inclusiveness and cooperation, less competition over limited PvE camps. It doesn't even have to be a large XP bonus, just enough to justify adding more players. |
