Albs Hibs and the teamattack on Mid-Relics
|
about Splitquick, that's right, I've tried to contact him in the public room several times on IRC, not to coordinate, but I'm crazy curious about his keeptake count. Zerg Overlord?..lol..no, unlike alb, we don't have a dedicated leader, but several who are capable. I'm just some background guy who sometimes offers strategy ideas..Are you that ice wizzy knocking me off the doors?

More than 200, the guild name speak for it self ^^ we are a lot with more than 50 keeptake in the guild. Splitquick is the opposite of 8man elitist people, he is casual friendly and he know how to draw attention and create action in frontier, he is also proud to be Alb. Regarding your NA times issue in Mid it's cool to see people back, what is not it's the reason, when you didn't had the relics I barely fought mid (I've killed twice more hib than mid) but since you got relics backs, pouf ! Mid resurrected ! so when you'll lost relics, people will desert the field again ? I prefer stability and I wish relics could be restated every month for better balance |

When one realm sees what's happening and takes advantage of what the other realm is doing, that's just strategy. I am a casual player but fairly regular part of the NA time zone RVR and even though you don't deserve a response to your baseless accusatory assumption, I will give one anyway. I can assure you we are not teaming up any other realm. There have been several nights when we even wondered why the albs chose one keep over another since it would have made better strategy to go for a different one at the time, but we are not privy to their thought process.
We *have* been trying to stick it to Midgard when we can because, well... you guys earned it with your total relentless dominance of the server for the first few months, and payback comes around sometimes. Funny that you're here crying about cheaters over it. Lunacy - Mentalist |

Haven't you heard? I don't have any strategy. ![]() Glenda, maybe if you had better "strategy ideas" you wouldn't just be "some background guy" and you'd be considered a leader. Maybe you should work on your own tactics before senselessly throwing insults around. To the OP: ![]() |

To quell your curiosity. The answer is: more than you. |

had I still had my wiz id be able to apply some ice to that burn
![]() Edit: If you are honestly telling the guildleader of a guild called "we play for keeps" to not play only for keeps, I feel like you are barking up the wrong tree. but ill lean back and see where this goes  Also if you cant figure out why he choses to take one keep over an other, maybe you are the one several moves behind in this so-called chessgame ![]() Last edited by wonshot on Jul 19, 2017 17:30, edited 1 time in total.

Wonshot you always overapply :p, Split, I often said that the only thing Albion was really missing was a leader. You provided that and it is a good thing, I am not discounting what you do. You take any who will go. You run every night and you get people out there. My only point was that there must be some strategy to this game beyond simply taking keeps. Keep takes for me are a byproduct of what I do. I was merely stating that you should occasionally try to figure out what I am doing before you get buttsore over being attacked. We're not gonna carry 30 rams into mid to do what we may go to do on a particular night. Certain resources have to be shared, this is just common sense.

And where is that list? I don't doubt you, I would have figured you were waaaay ahead of me, I'd just like to look past Flump (wouldn't we all

Taking keep is like death log in frontier, it draw attention and it's a good place for RPs either defending or attacking. I wasn't a big fan of Zerg/keeptake but Now I enjoy it because it require others skills, and above all it allow casual and non-meta class to actually enjoy the rvr. I don't believe elite 8man hate Zerg brcause a good 8man can take down 20+ players, for them it's also challenging. Regarding taking one keep over another, sometimes you need to Know when you have enough power to take down a keep, for example 2fg can't take lvl 8+ keeps |

Is it too far out of the realm of possibility that Hib would rather the albs have the strength relics than mid. And considering the enemy of my enemy is my friend, Hib wanted the power relic back. Alb wants the str relics. Just a couple nights ago while we were "teaming up against mid" our zerg was killing Splitquick's groups multiple times because he kept trying to take Bledmeer from us. I can assure you there is no discord teaming up. If Splitquick wants to fight us while we're trying to work on mid, he's more than welcome, he's also welcome to leave us alone, no promises from us.

Glenad: Every keep I take, and every move I make...... I'll be missing you.
No seriously though, every keep I take there is forethought and analysis of options that it may/may not open up, time windows that will provide, and how both mid and hib will react to it. What they may do in retaliation, how many they bring, what forces they currently have (and where), and dozens of other factors that go into my decisions. So you saying I run around taking keeps because of a guild name without any thought beyond that is insulting. The other night it seemed like Hib had a large force in mid, you guys took Bled, then Nott, then Hlid. I did not have the numbers to intercept Hib if they rolled in and grabbed the pow and the only mid forces I saw were half the # of the HIbs. I also did not feel we had any chance at the str even if hib somehow occupied mid at pow. We had the smallest force fielded of the 3 realms. So... I chose to help the enemy of my enemy and slow hib down. We attacked bled, we took Nott back twice, mid brought out a considerably larger force because Alb and Hib were taking their keeps. After I felt the mid force was equal strength to the Hib force.... we left. Had nothing to do with "helping" mid, but preventing hib from becoming stronger. Every single keeptake opens options. Every keep we take broadcasts our location, gives a great indicator to our intentions, and if we continue on our raid, literally leaves only a handful of options as to where we would go next. So in this "chessboard" of the war map, you're playing the board and deciding on a move based on where the pieces are currently. I'm deciding where your pieces will go based off my moves. You're playing my game and don't even know it. ![]() Splitquick and Glenad argue |

SQ,
I remember that night, seemed like for awhile like thing were going to fall into place for both of us, we were waiting to see if you were hitting Arv or TA's keep next so we could hit the other to help both our causes, you did notice once or twice we buzzed your force and kept going b/c you were in a good place to help both. an 8m and their trailing group hit you at..Notmoor? I think..We don't have any control over the 8m's, they're like cats, sometimes they help..sometimes they don't. I was pretty ****** about that hit, and was pretty vocal in our bg, which the 8's are often in. Open field most nights our force is superior to yours, I don't remember ever telling them..let's dog SQ's group till they quit. Your force is good for the Ecosystem, even if you're not always so predictable . ![]() As for the other, I see the Zerg as an ecosystem that creates opportunities for all other playstyles of RvR. Though sometimes tricky, I believe there is room for all 4 types of RvR. And my name's Glenad..we can at least be civil and respectful when you're not interrupting me :p |

@wonshot, no, I'm not The Dirty, but he is a guild mate..I love that guy, he's fearless and slams all that he sees, which gives me an extra cast per.

What I like with Splitquick army is that it creates content in our frontiers. The past couple nights have been quite fun!
