Lost sound after patcher failed

Symptoms:
Last night, something went wrong with my DNS and the patcher was unable to resolve uthgard URLs despite multiple retries. After resolving that issue (by switching to OpenDNS), I now have no in-game sounds (not from loading screen, char select, in-game music, nor in-game effects). All other audio on my system is working correctly. Any ideas? Tacomage (and "Taco...s")

Have you logged out and back in? Some of our guild mates lose sound and that usually fixes it.

I've tried the usual:
- log out/log in - machine reboot My next step is re-install of client and patcher, but was hoping for a "quick fix". Tacomage (and "Taco...s")

Issue is Resolved
Just to follow-up: This problem was completely unrelated to uthgard/daoc. The issue was actually a Window Update messing with my audio drivers and just coincided with the patcher DNS error. So, my solution was to fix my driver issues. Tacomage (and "Taco...s")
