I agree. This is exactly what Valor and Critical did. We are now under the banner of Valor and late night NA we routinely have up to 15 players online. It's nice

I agree, and I run one of said alliances.

It's quite a bit harder to get people to merge than you'd think. Everyone has different playstyles, grudges, expectations from an alliance, rules and freedoms that they want.

Largely, people do what they want and that seems to be to make many small sized guilds. I'm guilty of this as well, albeit a few months back at this point. Mine just turned into an alliance.

How many guilds is it room for in an alliance? And with 2-3 alliances it should be more than enough to claim keeps in the frontiers

Don't buy the propoganda that grouping isn't possible late night NA. Every night we run at least 1fg of guildies/alliance mates. It has been a pleasure, the camps are open now (cha ching camp bonus) and the game is still enjoyable.

I know i asked/said earlier about playing a necro/merc. I was just curious, I have my necromancer now but was looking to level a melee toon for my rvr/group stuff. what does NA need the most in terms of melee? I pretty much am open to play them all, but figured it was a toss up between armsman and a merc, since they both use det and such

Both. I would play whichever playstyle more closely fits how you see yourself in RvR. Arms is more dedicated peeler, Merc is more "run free and own ******".

biggest thing is figuring out whose active and not, and just booting the inactives...really that simple!

I will say here for those who are interested - I'm totally open to discussions on merging Primordial with another guild. The issue comes in with that we are the alliance leader, so unless we do some sort of guild acrobatics moving people around, it'd be much easier for another guild to merge in with mine.

I'd also prefer not to merge with guilds with high BP pools as those are still valuable for holding keeps at high level.

Hello guys, returning player here looking for a friendly guild.

I've stop playing DAoC for a long time and now im giving uth a shot. I dont have much time to play during the week but Im slowly leveling my necro (29atm). I'm looking for a friendly guild with active member all the time since my work shifts swap each week I tend to play on different time zones. Also, I would like the guild to not only help out on leveling but also an active RvR one which fight both on the 8v8 scenario and supports the realm on keep sieging.

Postin this here cause saw some cool activity and would like you guys to recommend me a guild thats fits my requirements!

With the release of the most recent patch, alb can expect an influx of new & past players. Here is Valor killing Moran with a group of mostly sub-50 players. DO NOT BUY THE BS ON THESE FORUMS --- the game is alive and well :) Come join the fun. Valor usually has 10-15 members on during late night NA. So as the population normally thins, we get more players
